i'm telling you guys right now...you're gonna have to work your *** off to beat kc in arrowhead this year...that team is gonna give people fits...mark my words

That stadium is as loud as the Superdome, and it's raining. Sun Life BETTER be like that for the Dolphins-Jets game, any of you who are going make sure to lose your voices. You know the noise will cause at least one INT by Sanchez or fumble by Green.

No doubt about it. And there goes McCluster one guy I really wanted in the draft, returning a punt for a TD. On the flip side though, I think the Chargers are going to blow this year. Losing VJ is going to hurt them a ton.

Yeah I was gonna start a thread until I saw this one. How about that crowd? What a faithful bunch. They won what 4 games last year? And yet they still have the stadium packed and are really giving the Chiefs a big homefield advantage. Props to their fans.

i remember r & r and i both on the kc is improved bandwagon...i watched em this preseason and you could see they had weapons...legit ones

i'm just glad we don't play them in their house...cause that would be a dogfight...

denver is the worst team in that division...

Oakland... I just see no way Oakland is better than denver.

thats a toss up for me...i can see it either way there...that means kc is the 2nd best team in the division and i might buy that...oakland at home is gonna give people fits also

but kc everyone is sleeping on

I see them at 6-10, 7-9. They can easily win 5 division games if they beat SD tonight..

Even better-The Jets were bragging about beating the Bengals and Chargers in the playoffs. Well the Bengals are already starting to implode with their ex-con team and the Chargers are getting destroyed by the KC Chiefs. The Jets, Chargers and Bengals are all historically bad franchises that choke. They were all lucky that they got to play each other last season.

Jamaal Charles is an incredible talent. If I had one wish, it would be that he didn't get resigned in the offseason and we landed him. Won't happen though, not a chance. I am loving their draft class right now though. Berry, McCluster, Arenas, Moeaki, Sheffield. Thomas Jones is a solid back. Dwayne Bowe is a talented guy. Derrick Johnson struggled with the 3-4 last year, he's been all over the field today. Brandon Flowers is a stud. Tamba Hali is a stud. Jackson and Dorsey are actually starting to resemble 1st round draft picks. Some other real solid players on that defense. And just as important as homefield advantage. Holy **** does Arrowhead get loud.

I thought they would look much improved this year, but I'm going to call it now. They will win that division. Raiders and Broncos blow. The Chargers just aren't a very good team. A lot of issues defensively, and that offense just isn't the same without VJ. I do think Ryan Matthews will be a stud, and the best RB of this draft class though.

1-0 KC.

Watch out NFL. Not for Jamaal Charles. Not for Dexter McCluster. Not for Dwayne Bowe or Thomas Jones. Watch out for Romeo Crenell's defense. Tough **** for San Fran, Denver, Oakland, Jax, Buffalo, Arizona, and Tennessee. I sure wouldn't want to play in Arrowhead, no way.

i don't know that i can take them to win the division...san diego still has a ton of talent...we'll see

I'm buying that defense. Anytime you can make Derrick Johnson, Glenn Dorsey, and Tyson Jackson look like the 1st rounders they are, I'm impressed. A lot of talent in that secondary in Berry, Flowers, Arenas, and Carr. Pretty talented LB corp in Hali, Vrabel, Williams, and Johnson. Two very good weapons on offense in Charles and McCluster. Dwayne Bowe can be a very good player when he's not dropping the ball. Chambers and Jones offers some good veterans for them. And I'm a big fan of Tony Moeaki. One of many TE's I wanted in the draft. If he can stay healthy, which was a problem for him at Iowa, he can be a playmaker, and good safety net for Cassell. of course there's the problem right there. If the Chiefs don't win the division, it will be because of Cassell.

told my friend the other day (diehard Chiefs fan) the Chiefs were stupid to trade Thigpen. He fit their spread great, and could make plays with his feet. He agreed though, not a fan of Cassell, and neither am I. If they can somehow fix QB, and address some problems on that O-Line, they can do some things in this league. We'll see what Weiss is able to do with Cassell though. Crennell is going to have himself a top defense very soon. Wanted him, and Weiss for that matter, in the offseason, though very happy with Nolan.

they over performed if you ask me. dorsey only shows up when he wants to - just like his college days. mccluster won't be returning punts for touchdowns every week. their O line is shaky. cassel is not very good. nothing special if you ask me.

if cassel turns out to be decent i could be wrong. but i don't think so. i think that defense had the best game it will all season. it's a young unit that isn't there yet - but they might be in a few years.

They have the FO and coaching to be a great team. They're going to be tough from now on but I don't see them contending this year. They're still rebuilding but in a couple of years they will be a great team and as bobdole said...Matt Cassel is not that good
