Make It Rain!
Maybe it's because I'm also an 'SC guy... and having the former Bruin head coach rubs me the wrong way (he did a bang up job for UCLA <sarcasm>)... but how many feel that maybe some of the blame has to go to the WR's coach on how badly the wide receivers are catching the ball?
I've spotted on numerous occassions... a lot of our guys not securing the catch and getting ready to run before they actually possess the ball.
Ginn attempting to catch a football makes me shudder more than when Bernie Kosar was behind center for us back in the day.
That being said... I'm definitely seeing a pattern with a lot of WR's missing easy catches. The blame might extend to our TE's coach George DeLeone as well-- again Haynos and Fasano make great catches, but I've seen them choke in the clutch.
Good coaches make their talent play better... and I'm just not seeing it. Although I'm still in favor of drafting a game breaker rather than just continuing with our stable of possession WR's. In fact can anyone remember the last game breaker we've had at WR?
It would be nice to have the talent but the coaches need to go.
