Any news on how Kay-Jay Harris is doing? If we do end up trading Lamar Gordon (he seems to have more value to other teams then Ricky), I'd like to see Kay-Jay be Ronnie's back up in case Ricky turns around and pulls another Ricky on us.
 
how are kay jays hands that is what i was wondering :confused:
plus the guy is pretty darn big i hope he hangs around for a while. i would like to see him replace minor
 
if we traded Gordon then either Minor or Morris is the backup. When ricky comes back then Minor is traded or released. Kay Jay makes the practice squad.

I still say a lot depends on what Linehan will want to keep at RB, FB/TE/H-back.

As I've said before, In Minn. Linehan had 0 true fullbacks on the roster. They were all H-Back\TE types...and there were a lot of them between the active roster and the practice roster. I went back and checked their roster and they had like 8 total TE\H-Backs between the rosters with no player listed as a fullback.

BTW, he also kept 4 RBs on the active roster. Of course some of that could be because Bennett was hurt off and on.

What do you base this on? Curious. Not everyday you have a guy this big that can run and move a pile. Minor isn't moving any piles nor is Morris.

He'd get picked up in about 10 seconds.


He's shown enough to stick for now, or be picked up by a team like the Jags if cut.

I'd go with Ozzy on that then. Hes seen him and ya cant knock that.
 
I have to agree with ozzy, the man has shown some flashes at camp, he will be around a bit.

How long did we keep Leonard Henry on the PS? So...Schlep..I think Ill go one more and say......your wrong.
 
Wow, look at all the past Fred Russell fans coming after me.

It's a numbers game, and he doesn't fit in the main 53.

Wow, people make a replies and their coming after you! Sounds like you gotta lotta demon's in your mind?

You make things sounds so easy. Hey it's a numbers game. knot + knot = not gonna make it.

But you forgot something. No matter what the position, the players that are having the best camps are almost always kept until the last cuts. In hopes of a trade, or to get them on the PS. That's 80 players right now, which by mid August, gets down to 60. He could be cut, but you have no idea how his camp is going, and you surely have no idea that injuries, or a great preseason game might keep him around. It's only been one week of practices.
 
It would be a dissapointment if he didnt get the 3 spot.We've benn waiting for minor to be good and he is worthless.KJ is doin well in practice keepin up with ricky's numbers.I think he is the hidden gem in the draft.
 
I'd be surprised if he makes final cut, barring injury to someone. I don't think Gordon's going anywhere, he's insurance for Ricky & Brown. Let's face it, nobody's betting the farm on Ricky just yet, and Brown will be behind + facing an NFL 16-game schedule. Morris can play 2 positions. But hey, there's another month to go.
 
Ive watched Kay Jay at camp and am originally from pittsburgh so i saw him play for WVU many times. Hell of a college back hes 26 so hes matured physically and mentally. Had some problems with injuries at times. I root for a guy like this to make the team. Hes physical big and has alot of heart. Weve seen that sammy morris aint about ****. I would keep Brown, Williams, Gordon, Harris. Sammy and Travis well i might keep travis instead of Kay Jay. My whole point is I think the Morris has the smallest chance to make the team
