Does today's trade of Keenum to the Redskins tell us that the league (or at least the Redskins) value Keenum higher than Tannehill? Or is there some deeper reason why they chose not to trade for Ryan but for Case? Asking price? Contract?

He's more valued in my opinion dollars follow quarterbacks with a good rep

Both are JAGs. Keenum has shown to be rather efficient if in the right system over the last two years

Just another M-Tbum mistake. He should stay away from football unless its another job offer from an AFC east team

Well Tannehill has been hurt 3 years in a row now too, has a big contract and is not that good.
btw, expect Denver to draft Lock at 10 if he's there

I think most teams look at Tannehill as a really good back-up. Look for the Eagles to sign him once released.

I mean Keenum was scheduled to have an $18 million base this year . . . .but he also was given permission to find a situation that best suited him . . . .and he did that in Washington with a significant paycut to $7 million, which was already guaranteed . . . .and got Denver to split that with Washington.

Keenum wanted to start somewhere . . . .Tannehill should of done something similar.

Tannehill was and is a below average QB imo, sophisticated metrics show he comes in slightly below average over his career including adjustments during the era..My eyes tell me he’s been below average during critical important parts of the game of Qb’ing during his tenure, especially situational football, instinctual aspects of the game.

To win one game Keenum > Tannehill..

Tannehill having no value on the market was very predictable..

Yeah but the Flacco trade probably brought keenum to that realization
