Word is that he will get extensive playing time. This should be one of our first chances to see him play in quite a while. We'll get to see him in action in Saban's system, which he may be a little on the small side for, but right now Jason Glenn and Zach Thomas are proving that size doesn't matter as much as it should.

When healthy Eddie is very Jason Glenn-like in coverage. I like his coverage in drop zones on this defense.

I'm excited to see him play. Despite all the people who knock him, He could be a great player in Coverage at least.

Funny you posted this just now. I was just thinking that because Saban specifically said that, he would mean that if he doesn't show "something" soon he may be cut/traded. JMO.

Thought the same thing.

I expect to see some rust.

The sad thing is, when he finally got in last year....he did really well. I was very impressed with what I saw out of what was essentially a rookie. He could cover a lot of ground quickly. He tackled well, he could hit, and he could blitz.

But the guy just cannot stay on the field. Hopefully this will be the end of his injury troubles.

What's ironic is that while he's always been an injury prone guy, he was able to play thru those injuries in college. I don't think he ever missed a game at Tennessee. But in the pros, they've KO'd him.

Watch him run out of the tunnel, and pull a hammy! It will be a hard call weather he makes the team in my book. He just can't stay healthy.

I meant to say with his luck. I wish no injury to any player.

Eddy Moore missed the entire sophomore season and half of his junior season muck. He's had some bad injuries in colllege and I don't know why we picked him.

i hate to be like this when i say let's keep an eye on him so we can all see it when he leaves the field holding his shoulder or goes limping off, but when has this guy stayed healthy for an entire season both college and pros? wanny took a gamble on him, and of course well all know how wanny's gambles turn out.

I guess I'm one of the few who's always pulled for Eddie Moore. He's a really fast linebacker and can tackle pretty well. He just can't stay healthy. He was good when he played last season, that's when he played...

he's a good solid football player... when healthy.

I hated the pick at the time, but he really impressed when healthy last year, and was essentially a rookie.

we need to get this guy healthy, because despite all the vets on D, we have a solid young nucleus that we've built up over the last 3 years or so, and Eddie can contribute to that... Wright, Vickerson, Roth, Crowder, Moore, Daniels, Poole, Mitchell, Bell
