Everyone else should go to the highest bidder. Hell even trade Jake if you can get a truck load for him. I.E. A couple of 1sts or a 1st and a couple of 2nds.

Wake is a one year wonder who will be over 30 soon, Dansby will be 30 soon, Starks, Vontae, Smith etc.

Dont give them away for nothing, but if you can stock pile picks in the top 4 rounds, do it.

Id ideally keep Pouncey, Long and Thomas around so when the tanking is complete and you have Luck or another top flight QB, you have a structure of a line in place to buid around him and a nice young back in the backfield.

Keep Daniel Thomas.

That kid is something else. Dude will not go down. Very impressed with him thus far. He just needs to do a better job of protecting the football.

I'd also keep Vontae Davis. Defense is getting a bit of a pass from me right now.

It's not just us. A lot of bad defenses around the league right now. Offensive production is thru the roof. Cam Newton had back-to-back 400 yard games. Not normal for a rookie. I think defenses are tragically suffering after the loss of camps and OTA's.

Yeah I won't be surprised if everyone is wiped out next year except maybe 5-7 players being brought back. I see all the coaches being let go including Nolan. Personally I would only keep Long, Clay, Pouncey, Thomas, Davis, Smith, Langford, Wake, Odrick and Smith. Anyone think the Reggie will be in the new FO's plans?

yeah i'd definitely keep those 3 for sure.

I hear you, but im just not sold on Vontae. I think you may actually be able to get more than he is actually worth.

Kid can tackle but thats it. He isnt a game changer. But maybe he could be a nice #2 so we can keep him if you cant get a lot of value for him.

Like I said, I'm giving the defense a pass. I think everyone is suffering. Even Revis has been burnt this season. It's not a coincidence anymore. Vontae is a good cover corner. I wouldn't place too much stock in this season.

The talent is alot less than many think, but Long is not the only good football player on this team.

You keep on offense.....

Long
Pouncey
Thomas
Bess
Harline (but move to 4)
Gates (as development player)
Garner (as a backup)

Trade anyone else you can on offense...

Keep on defense

Wake
Langford
Starks
Soliai (replace if possible...at all...)
Dansby
Bell
Davis
Allen (keep as nickel)
Wilson (development player)

That's it...that's all we got...

Oh yeah...keep the punter...but he even sucked tonight...

I would agree with you. If we could get something decent for Davis, I would take it. He is a good corner...but not a "great" corner...and you might get more than he is really worth right now. In a few years...he won't be worth much.

I would keep Reggie Bush.

Reggie Bush can do a lot in the right system with the right QB. Teams would be terrified of Andrew Luck that Reggie Bush could have free roam to do what he wants.

Teams are so concerned with Reggie Bush that it opens up so much elsewhere for other guys. And that's what people don't see. People just look at statistics and call Reggie a bum. But he opens up so much it's ridiculous. He did it in New Orleans and he'll do it here if used properly.

You wont get anything for Bush anyways and he comes cheap with only a year left after this one.

Wake would be my #1 chip. He knows a bull rush and thats it it seems like. He will be 30 soon. By the time this franchise will be ready to win he will be 32-33 years old, be much less effective and have less value. He would probably bring the most value right now especially from a contender who is searching for a pass rusher (all of them)

How many passes have they thrown to him? Do they want to save it up or something until the right time? Sheesh...throw him the damn ball!

Forget the in-between the tackles crap.

Bush never has been and never will be an in-between the tackles back. I had a lot of hope for Chad Henne this season with him so quick to check down.
