Pouncey is done and Tannehill is a given. I would also like to extend Miller and OV, and it's not only the Cane in me. :)

Both are young, very talented, and IMO will not get any cheaper next year. Miller was VG with no blocking and OV was pretty good without Suh. I would try my best to extend both sooner rather than later.

WOW, keeping our own. What novel thought.

IMO, Miller has proven he needs to be resigned.I'm not so sure about Vernon. He really needs to show something this season or else I'm personally okay with letting him walk.

No idea what OV is looking for now but, if reasonable, let's say $7-8M a year, I would do it, Wake's age has a bearing for me here.

Miller should be easier, and very important to keep.

i think we should lock up miller long term also. however, if we are looking to augment our running game with a power back this year, and that back proves to be outstanding, it will drastically alter the dynamic when it comes to the new contract.

You cannot lose OV and Wake in the next 2 years... That would be a huge blow to the defense. You just can't..

Signing Miller is a no-brainer.

Lazor does not use power backs.

Vernon is the perfect fit for a tag. Slap it on him and see if he plays balls out. Fede may show something also. Maybe him and Vernon are the future.

Most I would sign Vernon for is 6 mil. Rumor is he wants 10. Cya Vernon!

What he said. Plus we have Jordan, who, if he has actually gotten his act together, could allow us to let Vernon go and in a perfect world play so well as to make ireland look like a genius for trading up to get him.

if that is indeed the case, all the talk about having a power running game and/or drafting todd gurley (or any other power back in the draft) goes right out the window.

whether lazor uses it or not, it's nice to be able to control the clock when you have a lead and 4 minutes left in the game.

Vernon reminds me of ogunleye in the sense that he is making plays because of the double teams on the other end. Jt made ogunleye just like wake is making ov. OV is a pretty good player but I think if he were the main pass rusher he'd get shut down.

Ov, so far, doesn't deserve big money.

No doubt. He's average, maybe slightly above. If he thinks we will overpay, gtfo

Would like to see the numbers on other 43 ends in comparison. Maybe like the top 25 paid guys

24 yr old up and coming defensive end... Yeah, let him go. We can draft someone every single year to fill every single hole over and over and never put an actual team of developed players on the field. Seems legit.

Yes resign him, but he isn't worth top DE money. Sometimes you have to know when to let them leave.
