IF healthy I am leaning towards re-signing Moreno. Miller has proven what he can do and Moreno is a perfect fit in Lazor's O. He brings some leadership and tuffness, along with talent which we saw in game #1, along with something to prove. We a;so have Wiliams who flashed very well last year as insurance.

Moreno is my first choice, followed closely by Gore.

I think the draft is littered with potential contributing backs. Miller and Williams are solid in the passing game. I am leaning young here.

We have young in Williams and Miller. Need a vet here to bring something more than potential to THIS team.

I really like what Moreno brings but I've got to agree with Hayden here.

I'm leaning young and through the draft too. I like Moreno a lot for the game and a half that he played, but that's not enough of a sample for me to put all my eggs into the basket of an injury prone RB.

Sign him on the cheap cheap and draft a bruiser

If he comes on the cheap end, I would bring him back. I would rather spend mid-round draft pick on another guard or CB or TE.

I like Moreno but he can't stay healthy and we had enough of that this past season

I think the FA market in May is going to be littered with RB who were expecting more money and didn't get it, specifically because of how deep the position is right now.

Wasn't he "healthy" going into last season? Moreno is an injury magnet. Sure, he'll help for a game, perhaps a few games, but at this point there's little to no chance he'll last the season. It's probably an even money bet that he'll won't last past the halfway mark.

It's a risk but, he did play 19 games the year before.

And 8 the season before that, and 7 the season before that. That one full season out of the last four.
We need dependable players who will be on the field. Signing Moreno is would be a built-in excuse for another crappy season when he goes down with another season-ending injury.
And if we do sign him, it will be yet another mid-season hole that we'd have to fill. That's getting a bit old, don't you think?

He is a good back. But he is not going to play 16 games. I like his toughness and attitude. We will be filling that roster spot at some point if we had him. We need a back like him ,but not sitting on IR.

I hope the Fins draft a RB in this years draft,I like Moreno but he is very injury prone.
Would love Gurley but he will be gone in RD 1
Maybe Duke Johnson,Ameer Andullah,or Jay Ajayi in RD 2 or RD 3
Need another stud to compliment Miller

Good thing you're not in charge lol. Move on...he's unreliable. Don't care what he brings when he's healthy cause he can't STAY healthy. This draft is full of RBs that are excellent fits for the ZBS that would cost a fraction of what a broken down running back who's had leg issues, elbow, shoulder and every other kind of injury would cost us. I hope the Dolphins aren't willing to pay a guy that played all of 1 and a half games another $3 million dollars for a one year deal when they can address the depth in the draft, long term, for 1/6th the price. Spend the money on bigger needs like O-line, D-line and CB.

By the way Southbeach...how many threads are you going to start about Moreno?
