Keith Adams.

good special teams player.thats his impact on this team.

IMO it's a great pickup. He can play special teams well and we might even have a servicable player that is good against the run.

special teams no question. and an impact player on special teams. special teams wins games.
i think he also could be a good backup linebacker, probably not a starter. but who knows? he is still pretty young and i wouldnt be surprised to see him become a starter

From the sounds of it, I think he is more of a special teams pickup that a LB prospect. He is not the typical "Saban" size player, being only 5'11" and about 223 pounds. I believe that Nick prefers the bigger players. Maybe he is making a move to shore up the special teams, so he can jettison some of the other special team players.

Saban better cut this guy, then, huh?
Thomas, Zach LB 5-11 228:D

Adams is a great pickup.

1) He started for a very strong defensive team in Philly last year.
2) He is great at special teams.
3) He has an unique skill set. (I believe he was the QB spy against the Falcons one game).

He is a fast and agile linebacker with a good head for the game. He will be a good backup and great special teams player. He was simply a victim of the numbers game in Carolina.

Saban, uh, didnt draft him. He's been grandfathered in because he's got special abilities to the point where Saban feels it is worth adjusting his defense in order to better utilize Zach Thomas.

Shorter, 230 pound linebackers probabaly dont have a huge future in Miami's defense. After Zach retires, they are probabaly going to be relegated to special teams and maybe the occasional package. The future is going to be Channing Crowder at MLB, and more then likely a big, 2-down run specialist.

look for him to start later on this season... very fast and something this old Dolphins defense needs. Good pick up Saban.
