ArmandoSalguero Keith Sims: "You put Mike Pouncey at left guard next to Jake Long and you've taken care of the left side for the next 10 years." 32 minutes ago · reply · retweet · favorite

ArmandoSalguero Keith Sims says he thinks the Dolphins have made a mistake by making Mike Pouncey a C. Would like him at LG.

I
have said this from the start. Let him develop as a rookie at LG. He pulls great (right Omar?) and is athletic. IF you want him to go to Center, let him get after this spring.

I would have put Incognito at Center and put Carey at RG....after seeing him at RG, I would have kicked him out RT and gone the free agent route for a new RG.

What is great about my line is no where do you see Columbo.

Thank You Keith Sims!!!! Pouncey's a natural LG,that's where he needs to be imo,and i agree with you Hayden in that Incog should be our Center. But,i'm just a fan, what the hell do i know!!!

Would be nice to move Incognito to RG and then Pouncey to LG. Sign Gurode to play C. Oh well.

Won't happen , because then they'd have to admit they spent a mid first round pick on a guard. It's what he is, but they've decided they want a center named Pouncey. Just got the wrong one.

I'm kind of happy with Pouncy at Center and that position being stabilized. Still would have liked Brian Waters at G.

I'm happy with Pouncy at center. With all the teams switching to 3-4 defenses, center has become the secone most important position on a line imo. And by the way, centers pull too.

I never really understood why the position has been so underappreciated. Dwight Stephenson, Nick Mangold, Maurkice Pouncy, take your pick. Critical position to handle top notch NTs. I liked Alex Mack very much a few years ago coming out- not sure how he's doing but I think well.

Him and Thomas are The Browns 2 Pro Bowlers on their O-Line,and when he was coming out a few years ago,i told my brother i'd like for us to get him. if we would've drafted him,and still taken Pouncey this year,LT-RG would be solidified with Incog at RG.

When that old man gets eaten up by Soliai, you'll understand why the Dolphins had no interest. Belichck is delusional if he thinks starting Waters at RG is going to solve his OL problems.

The thing of it is left guard is not the problem right now, right guard and right tackle is.

Recall Incognito missing on his block and Henne spraining his knee last season?

Left guard is a problem, but your right, the real problem is the gaping wound known as right guard and tackle.

Why would that even be remotely considered a bad thing? It's not as if there is a value disparity between the two positions.

Richie a pretty solid guard, is he all pro - no but he is defiantly not the biggest concern on the line, especially if you quit pulling his slow *** and Jake lines up next to him. You have to figure Jake will improve the play of the guy next to him.

Craplombo is atrocious.

This "Pouncey is a left guard" stuff reminds me of the "Long is a right tackle" stuff. Let's see what happens on the field first.
