We rode Ajayi as much as RT in those wins in a 2016. Ajayi a 5th round pick still playing on his rookie salary this year and we are left scrambling in the draft hoping possibly a 4th round pick can somehow replace his contribution. Gase should be smarter than to let something like this to happen. If Ajayi was a problem bench him last year to finish out the season barring injury let him play this year to earn his free agent contract year and still get a pick next year on his departure. Laundry would have fetched a 3rd next year if we didn't trade him this year also. This team puts them selves in desperate situations under Gase Tbum and then take desperate risks to fix them. Tbum is trash yacking about how he hopes a bunch of players to step up. Its like me saying hey Tbum I am excited about this years because I hope your going to draft all Pro Bowl players this year. This guy is worse than a used car saleman on a buy here pay here car lot.

I continue to trust in Gase, Tannenbaum and Grier, not so much. The line looks good as does our defensive backs. Tannehill will again be the key. I think RT will have a really good year. A comeback player of the year good year. When that happens, a lot of the dysfunction will be gone.

Wow. TBum is obviously totally rattled shaken and feeling that Ross wood up the canal doubt TBum is in a position to ask for a Snickers at this point!

Compensatory picks aren't candy they hand out whenever you lose a player. They're awarded to teams that lose more players than they sign in free agency. We have no idea of Landry or Ajayi would've a fetched a pick or not. We definitely don't know it was gonna be a 3rd for Landry. It would completely depend on what else we did in free agency. Seen this narrative floating around here for a while and it's just not that simple.

When exactly did we leave a state of dysfunction? Was it the year we literally limped into the playoffs, just to get embarrassed?
That’s not really fair. We had nobody left when we made the playoffs including no QB, and lost to a team we had beaten before. The team was so injured it was ridiculous. The Steelers were finally playing with all their big stars. The wanna be “killer B’s”. Last season he brought in cutler because he knew Moore couldn’t last and he didn’t want to concede the season and lose the locker room. He was showing confidence in his team to play through it and succeed.

Have you ever coached anywhere? Are you actually suggesting that it would have been a viable option to the team to bench Jay for the rest of the season? If he was malcontent beforehand just imagine what effects that would have had on the team and locker room.

Couldn't read it unfortunately. At least he is saying we are no longer dysfunctional.........is he?

because I'm sensing a storm is brewing

I promise you, the only storm that is brewing is Omar's bubble guts, and that means it's time for a few twitter questions, and a Sun Sentinel article.

you're right and we know that we would NOT had gotten any comp picks at all for Landry as we would have lost him but we got Amandola, Wilson,Sitton so right there there'd be no comp pick so getting two picks in the trade was a good move
