Kelvin Banks film

Lol, just reboot cause right now all I wanna do is draft Pierce

Only interested if he could play guard at a high level. All projection right?? But then again we are doing that with any of the OTs

What about Campbell / a possible transition? Worries me with his short arms (like Eich) and I thought I've read some questionable things on him too power wise. I'd be so concerned we drafted another Eichenberg lol but surely theyre not in the same stratosphere... Campbell (and Banks) talked about like top 10-15 picks, vs Eich a mid 2nd rounder

I'm not gonna worry about arm length. Eich isn't good because of his shortcomings in the areas of feet, balance, and coordination. Michael Roos was a fine NFL LT for 10 years at 6'6 with 32" arms. 2x All-Pro.
Patrick Mekari who many of us want to sign as a UFA has been a solid player at all 5 OL spots and has 31 5/8" arms. But he and Roos both had/have feet, balance, and coordination.

Oh yeah for sure on the arms- good players and good and bad players are bad, sort of the bottom line here lol

Just something to think about

My argument against an OT in round 1 is Rue-Paul

As another poster mentioned, if giving up on Rue-Paul after one year means the end of Grier's tenure then
Banks at 13 is a win-win

Every mock draft that says we need a replacement for Armstead makes say “yeah but…”

We drafted a LT last year who prolly ain’t moving to guard

I am kinda down with Membou, because I am already in the resignation stage

Warren: 1) improves run blocking 2) supplements a short receiving corps 3) runs Wildcat on a team that can’t convert 3rd and short

Membou: 1) plays G/T

I watch every Penn State game. I go to a few home games every year. I have seen Tyler Warren play in person probably 10 times. He was probably a late day 2 pick coming into this year. He had always shown a willingness to run block even if his technique needed work which I liked.

That being said, his prowess as a receiver is being a bit overrated. He had a phenomenal game vs USC (17 catches 227 yards), a very good games vs Bowling Green (8 catches 146 yards) and Purdue (8 catches 127 yards). Other than that he only broke 100 yards one more time. He had the benefit of playing in 16 games which allowed him to pad his stats. To put it in perspective Fannin Jr had 117 catches for 1554 yards in 13 games and Tet McMillan had 84 catches for 1319 yards in 12 games.

I think Warren will eventually be a very good Y-TE. I wouldn’t even be disappointed to have him on our team because I have pounded the table to draft a TE for the last 3 years. However, expecting him to be some kind of savior as a rookie is only going to lead disappointment. If McMillan falls to 13 I would take him over Warren 100% of the time.
