Membou has significantly better tape than Banks last year.I’m not a fan at 13, too much of a waist bender for me

not to mention that film was more of indictment of #44 on Ohio State....wow....that guy belongs at a D3 school.I’m not a fan at 13, too much of a waist bender for me
I watch every Penn State game. I go to a few home games every year. I have seen Tyler Warren play in person probably 10 times. He was probably a late day 2 pick coming into this year. He had always shown a willingness to run block even if his technique needed work which I liked.
That being said, his prowess as a receiver is being a bit overrated. He had a phenomenal game vs USC (17 catches 227 yards), a very good games vs Bowling Green (8 catches 146 yards) and Purdue (8 catches 127 yards). Other than that he only broke 100 yards one more time. He had the benefit of playing in 16 games which allowed him to pad his stats. To put it in perspective Fannin Jr had 117 catches for 1554 yards in 13 games and Tet McMillan had 84 catches for 1319 yards in 12 games.
I think Warren will eventually be a very good Y-TE. I wouldn’t even be disappointed to have him on our team because I have pounded the table to draft a TE for the last 3 years. However, expecting him to be some kind of savior as a rookie is only going to lead disappointment. If McMillan falls to 13 I would take him over Warren 100% of the time.
Banks' tape was fine last year. Membou's was outstanding. If we miss out on Membou and Campbell and have to settle on Banks, it's no reason to feel bad.Membou has significantly better tape than Banks last year.
