Kendall Langford in contrac talks with #Dolphins to re-sign

i seriously doubt he doesn't hit free agency and get more money elsewhere...of course miamis had some discussions but i bet they've been fruitless to date and will continue that way...unless langford takes a less than market deal

kendalls contract negotiations

kendall-"are you gonna sign peyton?"
ireland -"priority 1 after we sign you"
kendall-"give me a pen"

If Langford resigns then we can forget this whole move to a base 4-3. He'd be useless in the 4-3

i don't see how langford fits a 43 either...and especially not for the money he'll likely command which i see in that $7 mil per range

They have been in talks for a while now, it was reported a few weeks ago that Langford was being talked to about a contract. As someone else already said in this thread, they are obviously waiting for free agency to begin before they sign him.

Between this and Peyton Manning, just a nice reminder that new coaches or not new coaches, as long as Jeff Ireland and Steve Ross are in charge, they're still going to make off season choices that baffle me.

lets see what Langford brought to the table...good run stopper...and great, i mean good, i mean, i mean, yeah. thats about it folks, table is already full.

Why is everyone convinced Langford is going to get so much money?

sorry i missed it,but you are against signing Manning?

I thought it was understood Miami was going to play a hybrid and use both 3-4 and 4-3 formations? Either way, Langford is at least worth *TRYING* to re-sign. If we were able to sign him for $3mil/year or less, wouldn't you do it?

I don't expect him to sign with us as I see his market value being in the $4-5mil/year range but it can't hurt to try.
