Kenny Britt

i would love to get him in the second round but not in the first maybe nicks in the first

Britt is better than Nicks, I saw both of them play when Rutgers played NC last year, faster and taller. Id rather not see either of them in the first round.

IM ok with a receiver in the second but absolutely not in the first. I want defense in the first and then if Britt is left on the board in the second I say we snag him then. If both Nicks and Britt are gone by then, then I trust Parcells has an idea about some potential receiver they can get in the later round, like with Bess last year

Parcell's and the Diva???? Sparano and T.O. the sequel??????

It ain't happinin!!

If everything goes as it looks to when Miami picks at 25 the CBs and LBs available are 2nd round quality. That leaves DL and Brace isn't worth the number one. IMO that leaves WR and I think Britt is the best option for Miami, we get him at 25 or not at all (he won't be available at 44). If we want another #2 (Nicks is a #2 IMO) we can draft Brandon Tate in the 4th or 5th - he's coming off an injury so he could drop to day 2.

Not sure why you call him a "diva". But who would you rather have a Diva that broke Fitz yardage record or a DUD...like Ginn? At least with Britt...we don't have to bring his family too....:chuckle:

Nicks in the first is better value than Britt at 44. Thats how big the difference is.

Taller, sure (by an inch). Faster, MAYBE. Nicks still has the best hands in the draft and has better #1 WR potential than Britt. Britt has mediocre written all over him. Nicks is gonna be better in the NFL then Britt; however, I think that both can be had in the second round and we should focus on getting CB V. Davis in the first IF hes still there.

I believe that the Fins are going to wait till its their turn to pick to figure out whats gonna be available to them and if they don't see anything of value they're going to trade the pick away to Arizona for Boldin then pick up a DB in the 2nd.

I admit to not having seen much of Britt, but, there is a poster here that has him in his sig. The picture shows Britt about to catch a ball with his body and not his hands...... Not so good looking to me.

Not sure how you can be called Mediocre when you gain more yardage than Fitzgerald did and tied him for 100 yd games?

"Adding to the record-setting evening, wide receiver Kenny Britt (Bayonne, N.J.) became the BIG EAST’s all-time leading receiver on a 42-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. The junior recorded 3,043 yards for his career, passing former Pittsburgh receiver Dietrich Jells (1991-95, 3,003 yards) for the conference mark. For the game, Britt caught six passes for 119 yards; tying him with Pitt receiver Larry Fitzgerald (2002-03) for the BIG EAST record with 14 100-yard receiving games for his career. His one touchdown catch also tied the Rutgers all-time record with 17 career TD receptions."

Unlike many receivers in this draft...Britt played in a pro style offense.
