This just pisses me off. Our coaching staff has done this since they've got in miami. They will play bums like Dallas, but not stills or even parker, hell even wake last week (i know they said it was because of a hammy, but he said he was fine). Get the play makers on the field. SMH
Acquired via trade in the offseason from the Saints, the Dolphins have high hopes for receiver Kenny Stills. However, those hopes have yet to translate into significant playing time or stats.
Via David Neal of the Miami Herald, Stills has participated in less than half of the snaps through two games, with only three catches for 20 yards.
“That’s just kind of the coaches’ decision,” Stills told Neal. “He’s got the guys in he wants in to play. It’s above my pay grade to worry about those things. I’ve been preparing myself to play. I’m healthy and I feel great. That’s the way the coach is game planning. So we just go with that.”
Part of the problem could be the time needed to establish chemistry with his new quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, who’s still working to become like Stills’ former quarterback in New Orleans.
“Drew [Brees] has been doing it for a long time and he’s very methodical with his work,” Stills told PFT Live earlier this week, “and I feel like with Ryan, he’s still kind of trying to get into his rhythm and the way he wants to do things and build his relationship with us and he’s taking control of the offense and becoming the leader of this team.”
As Neal notes, it took time for Stills to emerge last season; he had three catches for 25 yards though two games in 2014. As the year progressed, Stills did more. He did a lot more after then-rookie Brandin Cooks was lost for the rest of the year.
So it’s too early to give up on Stills. Before he can make an impact, however, he needs to be on the field at least half the time.

comparing our WR corps to our OL talent is kinda silly. let me know the day we can play 5 WR's and 4 OL.

If I was an NFL player I would just pay the fines and never deal with the press.

They are professional athletes who are dedicated to playing football.

It's like trying to get stuff done with a room full of 5 year olds throwing stuff at you.

You can't even scream at them. You have to use kid gloves all the time and they get to act like little children.

Forcing players to deal with the press is almost sadistic.

And this is what pisses you off? Stills? Really?

The O-Lines inability has limited this offense for years and years and years and years and............................

Matthews is balling. Stills, unless he starts to ball in practice, will not get snaps over Landry and Matthews.
Landry, Matthews and Cameron are on pace for 1000+ yards season.
Landry 124 snaps, 22 targets, 16 catches, 10.2 avg, 0 tds
Matthews 106 snaps, 13 targets, 10 catches, 14.9 avg, 1 td
Jennings 78 snaps, 8 targets, 3 catches, 9.7 avg, 0 td
Stills 58 snaps, 7 targets, 3 catches, 6.7 avg, 0 td
Parker 18 snaps, 3 targets, 1 catch, 3.0 avg, 0 td

Jennings and Stills basically share snaps at #3 wr. Parker takes snaps from Matthews.
Landry and Parker are targeted 1 time every 6 snaps on average. They run shallow routes.
Matthews, Jennings, and Stills are targeted 1 time every 8-9 snaps. This is not surprising since they run deeper routes.
Matthews's 10 catches on 13 targets on deeper routes with 14.9 average is superb!
Jennings and Stills are very poor combining 6/15 for 8.1 avg.

Its not all about snaps imo, its more about utilization. Stills is our fastest WR; even if he's not performing better than Matthews he should at least be used to draw extra Safety help. Teams have already become accustomed to our short passing game and won't even bat an eye when Stills comes in because they know we're not going deep.

we had 2 100 yds receivers last game... Who plays at receiver is completely irrelevant right now...

Neither Jennings nor Stills is stepping up.
Wallace last year after week 2 had 109 snaps, 12/19, 11 avg, 2 td.
Jennings and Stills have 136 snaps but 6/15, 8 avg, 0 td.

Whats your point? They're not stepping up because Landry and Matthews are doing great... This is not a problem... Its actually a good thing...

The point is as follows:

The expectations and talk in the offseason was that Stills and Jennings are better than Wallace and will be more productive for us, better players, bigger threats, better fits. The point is those expectations were unfounded. Neither is even close to Wallace.
As far as your remark sbout Landry and Matthews doing great, yes they are but again not as good as Wallace last year at this time.

no one of the many things

im comparing the fact that we go out to get weapons and dont use them. but we are perfectly fine with our line

Landry is a better WR than Mike Wallace... its not even close...

I respect your preference but Landry has not produced like Wallace did last year at this time. We'll see which receiver will have 10 tds this year. Wallace had two legendary tds in first two games against the Bills and the Pats, one handed on Revis and one handed in corner of endzone against the Bills. Ive yet to see that kind of playmaking from our group this year in the redzone.

I will be honest with you and tell you that I think you should write more posts like this.... You dont agree with me and you bring valid points to the table without going way over board like my god damn wife in her period... With that being said... If you take Mike Wallace's speed away, he's out of the NFL.... Landry is already breaking records, with 4.6 speed...
