According to multiple reporters at Dolphins practice Friday, rookie Kenyan Drake pulled up at the end of a run and needed medical attention. Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports Drake “immediately spiked [the] football and ripped off helmet as he was slowing down” with just a few minutes left in the practice session.

There’s no word about what Drake tweaked during the run, but he did have a hamstring injury during OTAs this spring and dealt with a variety of injuries while he was at Alabama.

Yeah Perkins said he threw his helmet and gloves in frustration after whatever happened happened. Doesn't sound good.

I really hope Foster can stay healthy, it will make this much less of an issue.

We need additional RB help. At this point I would rather kick the tires on Ray Rice than to ever have the possibility of Daniel Thomas play again.

Ajayi, Drake, Pead and Williams have now been injured. Foster is older and coming off a serious injury. Thank God for Daniel Thomas!

Sounds like a nasy hammy pull. **** man...cant catch a damn break at RB. I liked this this and thought he would be a nice asset. Guess hes gonna get shelved this year.

Lot of players around the league struggling with hamstrings. Drake needs just get healthy and take his time getting on the field. Hate to see him getting frustrated with the injury, it sounds like it's getting in his head too.

Probably my least favorite draft pick. Could have had several other talented RBs that didn't have a long list of injuries.

Disappointing to say the least, he was the pick I was probably most excited about, huge upside if he could avoid the injury bug. Poor kid

If we're going to have injuries before the season starts, which we are, 3rd string RB is a good spot for it.
