He was promoting BC Rich Guitars at my local guitar shop! Very nice guy!

While standing in line to meet him, I heard him talking some Steelers football with another fan, then he said that he would talk football with anyone, and not just about his team, the Raiders. I said, "I'm not sure if I even want to discuss the Dolphins this year" jokingly of course. Then he replied, "Oh you guys shouldn't be too bad this year, Frerotte isn't the best but he gives your team the best chance to win right now." I brought up Ricky and he said that he could understand him needed time off because he was rushed more then any other back over two years in history. We then talked about Cleo Lemon (we had just signed him). He thought his name was Clarence, but I corrected him ;) . I think the most memorable response he had was on Dave Wannstedt. He said "What a douchebag, I mean what a p---y! He shouldn't even be allowed to coach high school football" I couldn't agree more

We talked some more football, and when I asked him to address an autograph to my german friend "good luck in med school, hell awaits" he replied "well, that's really uplifting" sarcastically of course, and wrote a totally nice message to him.

Bottom line: he was a totally nice dude, without a doubt knows his football (why else would a Raiders fan know so much about the Fins?) and a real class act!

DO YOU WANT TO DIE???

Not really, but that is cool that you got to meet him and talk about sports with him.

He must not know much about football saying Ferrote is our best chance to win. Maybe the freak should stick to his lousy music.

Slayer is amazing - thats cool you got to meet him. Impressive he knew that much and was willing to sit and talk about it with you. Always cool to see celebrities that know their sports.

That's cool man. Haven't listened to any of their recent stuff, but I love thier older stuff, especially those Minor Threat covers they did a few years back.

you don't talk much huh? I was about to welcome you and saw you have been here longer than me.

I always enjoy talking sports with musicians. I spent last week hanging out with my man Zakk Wylde in Nashville.
