With Zach Miller being signed by the Seahawks, Boss now becomes the best TE in the market in my opinion. Over the last few years, Boss has made a big impact for the Giants, with 1 out of every 4 of his receptions going for over 20 yards. But with Fasano locked up last year, and with the Giants lack of depth behind Boss, I don’t think Boss will leave the Giants. And if he does, I’m not sure the Fins would be all that interested.

I would love boss but unfortunately he doesnt play offensive or defenseive line so therefore its not gonna happen.

would want boss but hey it's not our choice it's the garbage FO choice and they like slow tightends like fasano so good for them

Boss might be the only free agent that's not on the O-line I'd be interested in signing. Very underrated TE IMO.

Don't know what he would be asking though. Zach Miller got a huge pay day from Seattle, 5 years/$34 million. If his agent is looking for that kind of cash I say no thanks.

Guys, the front office are set with TE's. They are real high on CHARLES CLAY. We are going into the season with Fasano and Clay so stop spamming the forum with the names of every garbage TE out there...

Yea definitely, I think he would be a nice add into the mix at TE but nowhere near that price.

I hope your being sarcastic lmao

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you. Charles Clay offers a lot of versatility to the Dolphins offense, but regardless of the FO's opinion of him, his presence doesn't necessarily mean Miami is comfortable at TE. Clay is simply unproven at this point. They MAY bank on him to contribute, but I have a hard time believing they'll just head into the season with the idea that he becomes a starter if Fasano gets injured.

Kevin Boss is NOT a garbage TE. I don't know how much of him you've gotten to watch, but this kid is a really solid football player. I've seen him get annihilated going over the middle, yet somehow still make tough grabs without fear. He's tough, smart, and would give Miami an excellent two TE set when paired with Fasano.

Edit: I apologize ahead of time if you were being sarcastic in your post. Unfortunately, too many posters are making all-too-serious claims that just sound absurd and its hard to tell who is trying to be funny and who is dead serious.

If I understand what you're saying about FASANO, I would say that IF BOSS COMES TO MAIMI, then BOSS STARTS, and FASANO's the back-up, w CLAY and anyone who's left as #s 3 and 4. My choice for #4 would be SHULER JR..I'm old enough to remember SHULER SR., and if there's any truth to the old saying "like father, like son", then MIAMI just got lucky.

I was actually being serious, but thanks for the respectful reply. I'm not sure Boss is much of an upgrade, but regardless, it seems like the team is comfortable, otherwise they would have pursued some of these guys... That's just my opinion though. I am excited about Clay's addition to this offense.

So Boss is garbage and not a upgrade in our tightend position.. umm clay is not going to be our starting tightend he is going to be used in different positions. Adding Boss will be a upgrade than fasano so i don't see your point

Boss may be an upgrade, but not ENOUGH of an upgrade to sign him at the expense of other positions. NYG dumped him in favor or who again?

Cut Fasano and Sign Boss...Im 100% down with that move. He can block and catch.
