What is the word on his future with the Dolphins. We have to put it in consideration that we had too many 4th quarter defensive collapses that cost us some games. The defense actually got worse as the season went on. I know it's a slim chance of getting a Rex Ryan but we could get a Mike Singletary, Todd Bowles (if he does not get a HC job,
 
I haven't seen any word yet. Others have pointed out that last year, Sherman was fired on January 6th.....so if he is going to be fired, it should be fairly soon.

I think he is staying.
 
I take a nap and wake up, hoping to see Coyle has been fired…nothing.
 
He had late year collapses, but early and mid year top 5, top 10 defenses. Maybe he stays.
 
I think coaches should be evaluated on how they finish and if that is the case Philbin and Coyle in my mind failed . I do like what Lazor has done in his 1st year as a Dolphins coach and I think there will be better days ahead .
 
He'll stay most likely. It took a stare down between Ross and Philbin (which Ross won) last year for Philbin to get rid of Sherman, and this year I don't think that Ross really cares as much.

Its just too easy to blame injuries and all that for the drop off.

Don't expect anything to happen. Just look towards the draft and FA.
 
Did Joe Philbin magically sprout a pair of testicles overnight? No? Then obviously no news on Coyle being fired.
 
I would not hold my breath. I do not think that anything is going to happen as long as Joe is in charge.
 
I'm holding my breath and crossing my fingers and everything else that he goes. But I'm starting to think hew will stay.
 
PURE SPECULATION: I imagine the brain trust behind Ross, probably figure there's no point in firing him. If Philbin lays an egg next year, they'll just wipe them all out at the same time.

Not tryna sound morbid, but how many more regime changes could Ross possibly live through? I mean, we always say that we want to see Miami in another SB before we die, but this guy, he's serious about it. He needs to start making good decisions...quickly.

Nope. Sugar Bowl kept me up late and I plan on making an effort to watch the 10:15 kick with Oklahoma State and UDub. Danny Shelton interests me a lot.
