week 1 in chicago 15 carries 36 yards
week 2 vs houston 12 carries 57 yards
week 3 vs eagles 4 carries 8 yards

then he led the league in rushing the last 8 games so he started slow and so is ronnie brown we shouldnt get worried just yet

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this with us. Hopefully now these Ronnie haters will go away.

thanks for backin me up on that, even if you didn't know it lol. i posted something containing the same information w/out the actual stats in the "belichek 5-11 first season" thread, nice to see someone else realizes things like this.

yea ronnie will come around just give him some time and its rough we have to play good d's buffalo the jets and the pats 6 games with above average d's

Nice find.

I was looking at that too.....Tiki Barber also started very slow in his first few games with the Giants. I wanted to find other rb's that did the same but guys like Ahman Green, Priest Holmes, and Shaun Alexander were only used sparingly in their rookie years. They were given a year to develop in the system. When ricky comes back we wont have to rely on brown as much and it will hopefully take some pressure off of him.

He also is starting slow this year. I doubt Detroit fans are complaining about him, like I hear so many talk about Ronnie here.

while I think the bust threads are stupid, Jones was drafted 28 spots later than Ronnie, there's a bit of a difference

im not gonna say ronnie is a bust...but he sure looks like he needed those 3 weeks of camp...he is cutting to much, trying to run around people instead of through them..im still optmistic tho

when are you guys going to realize the O-line is what's killing Ronnie Brown???? When Ricky comes back and he's avearging 3 YPC You guys will be saying..."he's out of shape, he doesn't want to play, he's doing it for the money" If we had Ladanian Tomlinson, and he was averaging 3 YPC I believe you'd say....... "He's past his prime, we should have never traded for him" NOBODY is going to run the ball succesfully in Miami until we get an O-line that can actually block and create some holes.

well look at some of the talent that came in front of Kevin Jones in that draft. Roethlisberger, Manning, Rivers, Stephen Jackson, Roy williams, Juilius Jones.

I mean we probably would have taken a half those guys over Ronnie in this years draft.
