Panthers DE Julius Peppers vs. Dolphins RTs Vernon Carey and Stockar McDougle
Carey is expected to get the first shot at the starting job and the duty of stopping the exceptionally talented Peppers. However, the Dolphins would love to see McDougle improve his consistency if he gets a chance to play. The Dolphins would be in a much stronger position for the future if McDougle can take advantage of his vast talent and become a consistent starter. That would allow them to move Carey to either left tackle or to one of the guard spots to solidify the line long-term. As for Peppers, he is big enough, strong enough and quick enough to completely control the game........
