What do you all think the keys to leaving Toronto with a W will be this weekend? I think we need to buckle down on the defensive line and render Marshawn Lynch ineffective. If they get him running north/south the passing game will open up which could be potentially disastrous given no swirling winds or adverse weather conditions. I'm hoping Ginn and Bess both have big games. I also think that the fan base could be pretty evened out because some Toronto football fans will come to see their boy Ricky (even though I didn't really like his comment about how Toronto fans are real fans unlike Miami fans...but that's a story for another day!). I've also heard that there are alot of Dolphins fans in Canada, so maybe they'll rally the troops and show their support. Last but not least, I've hit a huge milestone.....my 2000th post!!!

Congrats on post 2000:

All of this playoff talk from this week kind of got people on the boards away from what the real focus is . . . beating Buffalo this Sunday in Toronto to get to 8 - 5.

To me, the #1 thing we must do is STOP THE RUN. I did not like last week how STeven Jackson was going up the middle against our D getting 5 and 6 yards a carry. That just can't happen as Buffalo has 2 very capable guys with Lynch and Jackson. At the same time, we gotta do a much better job getting pressure on Edwards/Losman . . . yea last week we had Orlando Pace to deal with . . . JPeezy made Peters his ***** earlier this year . . . he will need an even BIGGER game today.

I'm not as worried about the offense . . . we just gotta protect Chad with this make shift OLine that we have put together with the Smiley injury . . . I think these guys can run the ball on Buffalo.

We gotta play smash mouth football, beat Buffalo down, and we can win this game.

Predictions:

Miami 27
Buffalo 16

I have to agree with Ricky. Dolphins stadium is always empty except for that New England game because of playoffs implications..

I used to live in Tampa, and Raymond James Stadium was always sold out - win or lose, winning or losing record.

Maybe Ricky is wrong about the green stuff, but he is right about Miami fans.

Thank god for the chat room, or it may be double lol. Last year was a tuff year to be a fins fan so I found myself staying home and posting in alot of game threads instead of going out to watch the games (I don't mind trying to do play by play for Fin fans who don't have TV access or radio access). Now with the chat room, if I stay home and watch the games, my post total doesn't go up lol. U can rack up a good 50+ posts in a gameday thread over the course of 3 hours.

I would say probably half of my posts, or even more, have come in gameday threads . . . whether in football or 2006 world cup.

I loved watching the 2006 World Cup....luckily my team "Italy" won! I played/coached/refereed soccer for a good majority of my life. Played in Turkey for awhile.....LOVED IT!

Yea I watched the opening rounds over here and I flew over to Germany for the elimination rounds. Big German and US fan . . . it was CRAZY over there.

I think we need to get to their qb more. We have to be more aggressive on D, whenever we pressure qb's we usually win, ie first game against NE, and Buffalo.

I think the weather will will be huge.... no wait !

Seriously, I think it comes down to Loss-man and Miami's D. The O will do fine IMHO. the D HAS to step up and get consistant pressue on him to take away the deep threat.
