We all know ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson is still mulling a comeback. Some want him, some don't but if his gonna come back do it before the draft so we know if we need to draft a similar style reciever or want to do in that area so we are prepared....

i wanted Keyshawn before we signed Wilford and still think he would be a better player but we need to add some good young guys.

i think he would be great for a year or two. true #1, won't cost much, greatest blocking WR ever, great hands - all things we've been missing. plus since he's been got for a while he will have a better appreciation for being in the league, and we all know how parcells is basically his puppet master. would be a great pick up until we get that #1 guy for the long haul.

i think it would be a good move these recievers need a veteran in there plus the history with parcells we could maybe get a solid two years out of him

Isn't Keeeshhawwn about 40. Don't you use a sundial to time him in the 40. Even Parcells knows, no keeeshhawwn.

Doesnt Earnest Wilford fill this need? Personally, I'm all about the draft. I wouldn't mind Keyshawn, but rather us find our own superstar.

I think if KJ was coming back, he would have already made his decision. I dont want him here to begin with, so I say the hell with him. We'll draft a WR and go with Ginn and Wilford.

maybe through talks with team management they mutually decided that it would be best to let keyshawn stay out of the way for now, see if we pick up a wr we're happy with in the draft first. If, for whatever reason, they do not get a guy they can groom, then they would bring in Keyshawn.

I'm inclined to think that if Keyshawn could make our roster, our roster isn't good enough. I'd rather draft somebody and see who becomes available after the TC cuts, if we still need a vet.

Agreed. He would provide nice depth and security blanket of sorts for our Young QB.

We've brought in old WRs before and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. KJ isn't going to get better at this point, whereas someone you draft or a street FA after the draft should get better, but may not. At least you are taking the chance to improve.

No luck with the avatar, huh? Old FAFF (Fix-A-Flat-Face) really needs a more lofty perch than your sig. Ha ha.

I think its already a done deal. Keshawn has been absent from all the draft talk on ESPN. IMO he is working with his personal trainier getting ready for the season. Bill and Key already have a agreement. I like it because he and wilford are the same guy and I wouldnt be surprised to see key at about 240 playing some TE until we get a real one. He played at 220 i could see him up to 240 and he would be a good mentor for wilford because no one practices harder than Key and hes able to bring it to the game.

What I don't like about that scenario is the implied promise that Keys has a roster spot. After all, he wouldn't want to be humiliated by being cut, right? But what if he deserves to be cut because a rookie outperforms him? I'd rather just skip KJ altogether.
