Just a couple minutes ago on audibles on espn, herm edwards was talking about how the chargers might exploit the pats the way brandon marshall did, and keyshawn chimed in, "I like Vincent Jackson, but he ain't no Brandon Marshall". And herm indirectly agreed. Nothing big, no news, but I just think its cool that Keyshawn felt the need to point out how much better Marshall is than jackson, Especially since I consider Vincent Jackson to be a pritty damn good receiver.

When talking about the Phins-Pats on Tuesday with John Buccigross and Herm on the regular ESPN set standing up. Herm was praising Brady for his passing yardage and what not, then when Buccigross said well Henne didn't have a bad game either, he had over 400 yards. Herm said "ehhh, he also threw the ball 49 times too (shook his head)" failing to realize Brady threw for 48 I guess. Or just wants to be right when he says Miami has the worst QB situation in the league.

CERTIFIED HATER

VJ is more of a big play guy, whereas Marshall tends more towards being a possession receiver.

Herm is a douche. He has turned into a clown. From being the "Hermanator", to the argyle socks, to mini Herm in the Bud Light ad, he has turned from NFL coach to a cartoon character.

LOL herm...

He'll always be remembered for:

Nice legacy coach! Keep hatin!

Herm Edwards is an azzclown... but actually trading a 4th to acquire him makes Ross's Buddy Carl Peterson an even bigger one.

Dont hate Herm .....or love Herm...just ignore Herm ....and he will go away...

yeah cause over 8 yards per attempt is such a bad thing lmao. herms an idiot anyways. his analysis virtually always lacks insight anyways, and he doesnt seem to gather his own information, but rather cave to the prevailing thought on a subject. kind of a joke really, for an insider - a guy that both coached and played the game. its not unexpected tho i suppose

If by possession receiver you mean a guy that gets 7 receptions for 139 yards, nearly 20 yards per reception then I'll take it.

All I know is that Devin McCourty is the 2nd or 3rd (depending on who you talk to) best CB in our division. He was on Marshall for a reason, he had an outstanding rookie season...and he had no answer for Marshall. If you haven't noticed that Marshall is quicker and faster you need to go watch the game again.

I didn't say that Marshall is a pure possession receiver. I said that he tends to be more like that than VJ. VJ is, and always has been, a chunk yardage, big play WR. Both types of receivers have their places.
