COme on BIll Bring him in, It will only be an Upgrade

keyshawn would be a good idea. i actually see this happening.

how exactly? a 35 year old receiver that we're all probably faster than? right...

we have wilford who is a possession guy and doesn't do the whole me-me-me thing.

keyshawn should stay retired. we don't need to go after every player that's ever cut or can possibly play or is available for trade contrary to what every post on this board is about.

I do too,if nothing else Key could help out our young receivers.I don't think he would be a behavior probelm,BP won't put up with it and Gruden didn't either.so I think he may have learned his lesson. The only real question is if Key still has anything left,he has been out of the game for a few years.

The only thing that helps out young receivers is to be on the field.

Let's let the guys play who will be here in the future.

We have to be patient with this team folks. No reason to go after old veterans.

I saw the folloeing post and I agree with it. You better learn about patience my friend.

I think this draft told us all that Bill Parcells doesn't see this team the way many of us fans do. While we're here talking about the potential of Lorenzo Booker and the future greatness of Ronnie Brown, he traded Lorenzo away and drafted 2 RBs.

If you want to talk about the WRs we have, here's what Parcells might tell you: "I won't be using them much so don't worry about it."

I don't think for a second Parcells is happy with the WRs here. I promise you he hasn't placed any sort of crown atop Ted Ginn's head. That notion is SO beyond what Parcells is capable of doing. I think he completely ignored the WR need we most certainly do have because he has alot more to focus on than that.

Parcells will likely put in place an extremely simplistic approach of rebuilding this team--a team he sees as having very little talent and very little discipline. His approach is probably something focusing on stopping the run on defense and running the ball on offense. Obviously, the O-line picks will help us run the ball while Merling and Langford are more run-stuffing d-linemen as opposed to guys who are going to go chasing down QBs.

Focusing on one area doesn't mean you're happy with other areas. One other interpretation is that we're simply a rebuilding football team under a regime who has to completely patch up two lines. We can't rebuild this team by taking 9 picks from the '08 draft. I can't say I know much, but that I do.

Remember the dolphins were one of the worst teams in NFL history last season just a hair from going 0-16.

Do what we need to do and this year we'll win 6 games. Improve our passing game and develop as a team and we'll win 12 games. Play at a high level the entire year and we'll become an elite team which plays well into the playoffs and plays for the Super Bowl.

It's realistic that we could be playing in a Super Bowl in 2012 (or will the world end first?). The truth is, we have to do certain things to get to that point and right now picking up WRs isn't necessarily part of that.

Keyshawn?:sidelol: The guy probably runs a 5.0 40. Let's allow the WR COACH to teach the young wr's, not keyshawn. It is his job after all!

Why are people so opposed to this idea? Anyone with any football knowledge would know he wouldn't be brought in as a playmaker and game changer. He'd be brought in to help the WR's and even the QB's with all his experience. He'd be more of a coach then a player. So with that being said I'm all for bringing him in if the price is right.

Keyshawn ......

an upgrade? hardly.
A Mentor? Maybe.
Washed up? definetley.

he has only been out one year... he was released last year by carolina when they drafted jarret so he retired

I am probably biased because I always kind of liked him...and if it spares me having to see him wearing those fugly suits on ESPN(what in God's name was he wearing this weekend?did he get dressed in the dark?)than bring him back to help out.

Key keeps his body in football shape all year long, and I seriously doubt that at this age he would still be doing the me-me-me thing that you're talking about. He's been out of football for a couple of years, so I'm sure that he knows that he really doesn't have any sort of leverage against anyone since the team does bring him back in will essentially be doing him a favor.

He will not come cheap.

He is not a legit #1 WR, which is what we need.

His wonderful personality would be more detrimental than helpful, esp with our young WR core.
