While there were many things we did poorly in this game, the thing that sticks out most to me is our ineptitude on kick turns. In Ginn's 3 or 4 kick returns, I think the farthest he got it out to was the 15. Thats absolutely inexcusable for an NFL team and this has to be fixed if we have any chance or turning things around.

Ginn sucks. And the fact that the NFL banned the wedge doesn't help either.

You can't blame Ginn or Cobbs AT ALL. they were getting swarmed by defenders before they reached the 15 yard line. The ST's blocking is the worst I've ever seen, you could put Hester back there and he wouldn't average 20 yards per return.

Ted Ginn sucks on kick off returns...

I've said it before....he's too damn predictable.....he runs to sidelines every time...

Every time...

Every time...

Every time...

Exactly. It wasn't Ginn. They put Cobbs in and he couldn't even get to teh 15 without getting swarmed.

It is our special teams coaching IMO...we sucked at them last year...and we suck at them again...

We can put anyone back there and they will suck as long at Bonnie-may-go is the ST coach...

The returners can still take a knee when the ball is in the endzone and we get the ball at the 20. I didn't see either use that judgement - they should have realized the the kicks were getting some decent hangtime and the coverage was able to get down field on them.

Every time means every time. And since Ginn ran one right up the middle of the field today (the one where the ball came out after he hit the ground) then you'd be 100% wrong.

Fact is, whomever returned the ball was surrounded by defenders before they reached the 15 yard line. Go re-watch the game before you make inaccurate statements.

i agree its not all Ginns fault. The blocking on ST is atrocious. Ginn does look timid and not nearly as explosive as he did on kick returns in college but the blocking is far more to blame than Ginn "running to the sideline".

sparano's man crush wont get fired so get used to having "horrible teams" bc there is nothing special about the crap they dumped on the field today.

special teams needs alot of work. Even last year everytime Ginn returned one for a TD it came back for holding.

Not saying its Ginn's fault just saying it was really pathetic that he didn't get back to the 20 ONCE in his 4 returns

i get what your saying but if people dont block for you and theres a swarm of 4 or 5 guys coming for you what do you think is gonna happen? Special Teams blocking is bad. Bess always has to fair catch punts because we cant block on punts either.

MIA could'nt get a bulldozer to the 20 on a kickoff with the way they were blocking (not blocking)

He ran towards the sidelines first like he always does.....THEN tried to reverse his field in the other direction.....that's the only reason he ended up in the middle of the field because he got caught there...

I dont need to rewatch it.....I've been accurate on everything involving this team....

From the quarterback...to the offensive lineman....to the geriatric pass rush...to the kick returners....
