Kimbo Slice to Pursue Boxing Career

He didnt fight in the UFC, he fought in EliteXC. He would of got killed in the UFC, but I think boxing will be alot better for him and he should of done that from the start.
 
The thing about Kimbo is that he is really an exhibition draw as opposed to a bonafide contentder. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but he got into the game too late to learn all of the little lessons along the way that go into making somebody a true contender. The other thing is that people really want for him to fight big name opponents so the likelyhood that he will learn those little lessons before he gets beat into obscurity is slim.

Sorry bro, I disagree. Boxing will be a lot worse for him if he intends on fighting even an average professional. Now if he goes around fighting cans like butterbean or something, then he can be successful.

Kimbo Slice is a brawler. He has some very basic boxing ability, but he is not techincal at all. The average pro is 10x more technically sound.

Also, I never pegged this guy to have a weak chin, but the Seth Petruzelli fight raised a red flag. He got Tko'd by a guy throwing a jab falling away.
