Ever since they beat San Diego last week, I've been having this feeling that I am actually rooting for New York.
Now please, don't get me wrong, I hate NY just as much as the next die-hard fin fan and I live in South Florida where there are Jets fans everywhere and I hate it.
But face it, we took care of them during the regular season, and essentially that's all that needed to be done. Every real fan knew we weren't a playoff team.
Why not root for New York? They are in your division, at least they are representing the AFC East. When your not a playoff team, all you can play for is division supremacy, and we did that, so sit back and root for you division.
Does anyone remember when everytime we played NY we basically knew we were going to lose? We beat them once in like 6 years or something. Well that's over, we've taken care of them the last 2 years winning the last 3 of 4. That's all we can do.
Basically, I'm just glad to see the AFC East representing 1/2 of the AFC Championship game, and it takes the pain away knowing that we swept them.
(lol this was a mistake)
