Ever since they beat San Diego last week, I've been having this feeling that I am actually rooting for New York.

Now please, don't get me wrong, I hate NY just as much as the next die-hard fin fan and I live in South Florida where there are Jets fans everywhere and I hate it.

But face it, we took care of them during the regular season, and essentially that's all that needed to be done. Every real fan knew we weren't a playoff team.

Why not root for New York? They are in your division, at least they are representing the AFC East. When your not a playoff team, all you can play for is division supremacy, and we did that, so sit back and root for you division.

Does anyone remember when everytime we played NY we basically knew we were going to lose? We beat them once in like 6 years or something. Well that's over, we've taken care of them the last 2 years winning the last 3 of 4. That's all we can do.

Basically, I'm just glad to see the AFC East representing 1/2 of the AFC Championship game, and it takes the pain away knowing that we swept them.

(lol this was a mistake)

I like how they are playing football right now, but I still hate them. If they win the superbowl, you know we will NEVER hear the end of it, right?

No, it's not hard to not root for the jets. I hate them so much that I won't even capitalize the first letter in their name.

If you are not an AFC East fan, than yes, it's easy to root for them. They are playing good football, and other team's fans may not know the Jets well enough, and wind up feeling sorry for them since they have not won a superbowl since SB III..

You are not a TRUE Dolphins fan.... Get outta here!
Oh, I see now you are going to start declaring other fans "not true" fans... Fact is, so what if he roots for the Jets? Yes, they are a hated rival, but it's his choice what he does. Chances are, if you are a member of this board, you are a true fan. The average joe doesn't just come on here and sign up. People sound so ridiculous when they declare another fan to be a "false" fan...

Are you out of your mind??? We've beaten them 3 times in a row. This season after every win they dis-respected the Dolphins. I never really had a problem with the Jets until this season Wrecks Rhino is really getting to me with all of his BS and ****iness. I'll never root for a division rival. Do you realize the Jets may play in the Super Bowl in our stadium??? You want to see that??? I don't know about you but the thought of it pisses me off.

You can root for whoever you want, and I will as well.

Just so happens that any team I ever root for will never be a AFC East team that doesn't rhyme with Schniami Schnolphins.

I like the Chargers a lot, so chances are I would not be rooting for the team that beat them, even if it wasn't the Jets.

They shouldn't even be in the playoffs. I don't care how well they are doing right now. Also, if Indy goes to the Super Bowl we will have another Pro Bowler (Starks), so that will be cool.

That being said, it would be REALLY funny here in Indy to see the Colts lose. That would be something that these bandwagoners would hate so much, seeing on how most of them are already booking their ticket to Miami. They are really over looking the Jets.

It also is a double edged sword IMO, because if the Colts win, then you are going to have fans bringing up the perfect season again saying "we beat them now, and could've back then". But if the Colts lose, then the whole resting thing backfires and they lost to the team that they let in the playoffs.

I am interested either way, and would be rooting for whatever NFC team if the Jets squeak out the win.

I'm pretty sure all jets fans would be rooting against Miami if the situation was reversed....I guess this means Dolphins fans are have more class than jets fans.
