kinda confused! playoffs?

ravens lose next 2....fins beat jets and fins are in regardless of what chargers do correct?
 
If ravens lose out and we win next week were in.
Were also in if the ravens chargers and dolphins finish 9-7.
If we all finish 8-8 I don't think we get in.
 
Wow! Yes for the millionth time. 2 ways we get in. We win next week, ravens lose the next two or miami, sd, and Baltimore finish 9-7, we get in.
 
Dolphins make the playoffs IF:

1. Miami beats the Jets next week.

AND

2. Ravens lose to Patriots and Bengals.

OR

2. Ravens lose one game and Chargers win out.



So, right now you are rooting HARD for the Patriots today, the Bengals next week, and the Chargers to win out. You are a huge Philip Rivers fan right now.

Correct. If we finish 9-7 (i.e. we beat Jets) and Baltimore loses both games we're in. If Baltimore wins one and loses one, we're in if San Diego wins both of its games. If everyone finishes 8-8 Baltimore is in.
 
If the Ravens lose(currently down 17-0) and the Chargers win(currently down 7-3) today the Dolphins actually aren't in bad shape going into Week 17. They lost the rights to control their own destiny, but the help they would need wouldn't be that ridiculous. Of course they need to take care of the Jets, but they would need just one of the following to happen.

Ravens lose to Bengals

OR

Chargers beat Chiefs


The good thing for Miami is that the Bengals will still have something to play for, while the Chiefs have nothing. That means Kansas City might rest their starters next week.
 
We're in if p all 3 finish 8-8 as well. It's hard to get up for this thread after watching them today.
 
New England putting a BEATING on Baltimore. Cincy will do the same. Beat the Jets backups and we're in boys.

Why anyone would even want to make the playoffs is hilarious. Listen up people, what you saw today will be the exact same game but worse if we have to play a team like the bengals. I don't think we could be any playoff team right now, maybe next year when nothing is on the line.

Yes. That would definitely be the best case scenario. If the Chiefs rest Charles, the Chargers have a real chance to win that game.
 
Its 7-3 Oakland right now and Rivers just threw his second INT. So its worth noting that if Baltimore and San Diego both lose, we need the Ravens to lose next week in addition to beating the Jets, and that would be our only way in. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how it looks to me.
