Nice article. I will be stoked if we win 7 games. I like his prediction about 4-6 waiver wire pickups. And I wonder if the trade he mentioned involves a qb.

Great article, and I agree with mostly everything he said. i believe were going to go 6-10 this year and have another great off-season to add some playmakers, and we will be in the thick of the playoff race come 2009.

yea thats what i think... 6-10 will be our record if we stay HEALTHY! We draft Jenkins from Ohio State and we should be lookin pritty good for the next couple years.

I think 7-9 would be accurate.

I don't see them seriously competing in the division for another 2-3 years though.

This isn't the NFL of the 70's and 80's. Things change mighty fast in the modern day NFL. 2-3 yrs is an eternity.

So by 2010 Miami will be competing for a division title? Probably by then, Jason Taylor will be in year two of his Hollywood career. Can't wait, a division title and a former Dolphin staring in a movie in the same year.

7 wins would be great but I think thats stretching it a bit. I did watch the pre season game today and was impressed with the first string defense which I thought was going to be not so good this year due to how it was last year with ZT and JT. I think the defense is very young and looking for leadership so I dont see 7 wins this year I see more of a 4-5 win season due to how young this team truely is. This is just an honest opinion.

I was surprised when I saw this. This guy LOVES the Jets and usually hates the Dolphins. He must really believe in Parcells and Co. I'm thinking 5 or 6 wins, 7 would be great!

"Parcells recalled the time he had Wes Welker on his roster and lost him on a waiver claim."

I'm glad he can recall it, because I sure can't.

Too early to make a prediction like that. The defense looked good. The offense scored 6 points. If we averaged 6 points per game this year... we would be 0-16.

I'd like to see our passing game score some points before I bet on this team to win 1 game this year.
****
Who knows... Maybe Pennington turns into the NFL MVP this year... I'd like to see him play well here at least once, though.

7-9 sounds good, but i dont expect us to go on a playoff run. The AFC is just to strong
