Kirwan Likes the Wright pick

Have you read his phone transcript on MiamiDolphins.com?

I like this pick too. He sounds like a good kid. I have a feeling that if we are fair with him... especially if this was a bad/ wrong read on the MRI... we got a steal and he will want to stay with Miami for giving him a chance. We will see. :dolphins:
 
The Money...?

If Wright was robbed by a bad diagnosis... meaning if it turns out that it is not as bad as people thought... they should put something in his contract to get to 3-4th round money with incentives. Why? Because if he does turn out to be a stud who fell because of bad info Miami shouldn't let him think we are just taking advantage of it hardcore. Saban is good at being sympathetic. This guy might be a stud. Sign him to an incentive laden 3 year deal and if he is a stud sign him to big money in the future. Don't be pure biz with this kid cuz if he pans out he may say forget you guys and just go for the biggest coin only... or not want anything to do with the Dolphins just because working for less than you think you are worth, for years, may drive you to leave anyway even if an offer is close to another. I hope Saban/ the Dolphins consider the personal side a bit here. I am sure this kid is very angry right now :fire: .
