You can say all you want, but we are now 5-4 and still have a tough schedule remaining in the season. Lucas has blown it for our franchise and for every Dolphins fan. I don't see us having a great December and coming out of this hole.

Well..the spin on this should be interesting.
Well I said that because I was mad.. but if we continue the tradition we have every year of a December collapse, we will struggle. I just hope Jay gets back soon. I'm not ready to give up yet, but things dont look so good right now.

Fisherking you have no idea what a fiarweather fan is. All these dolphin fans complaining (me included) still cheer for this team every week even if they went 0-16. No one has said they are no longer going to cheer for them and root for a team doing good or go into hiding. Please we are not Raider fans. We stick by our team thick and thin. We are just fans who are severely emotionally invested in this team, to a fault. You being a green Bay fan probably know the feeling. A fair weather fan is someone who abandons not critisizes. What are we supposed to say, well gee we lost 3 and looked horrible doing it, lets all be happy and smell roses and bake cookies! Seriously packerfan, if your team was doing this lousy you would be right there next to me i this boat.

These people here aren't fair weather fans.. not the ones i've met at least. They are passionate about their team.
Overall, the Packers and the Patriots have two of the longest wait lists to get season tickets, and a game would never ever be blacked out regardless of regardless of their record, so it's easy for us to label other fans as less supportive of their team.
But that is just generalizing. I've encountered a few assholes here, and morons who just write stuff like "the patriots will lose cuz they are just plain bad" , with no data to back it up... but what do I expect in a dolphins message board?
but that doesn't mean that just because the Dolphins can't sell out a home playoff game , that they are fair weather fans...
Dolphins fans can always grill me cuz they've blown out the Patriots the last couple years in October, and I can always point out that the Dolphins haven't beaten the Patriots when it counted, while both teams were competitive , in a while..
it will never go anywhere... the dolphins have a good team.
Possibly ready to make the next step.
I do think Ricky Williams should keep his mouth shut about assessing the talent of his team vs other AFC teams, as it just created fodder for other teams to fire themselves up. But that is just my 2 cents.

I'm not a fair weather fan. A fair weather fan leaves his team whwn things are bad and picks a new one. i'm still here and will be. I just know that we're not gonna win teh SB this year.(again)
So I'm pissed about the way the GM didn't have the foresight to get a backup QB who could play, and bring in a few OL because he demonstrates too much faith in teh guys he has. If they haven't been good for 5 yrs, why are they gonna all of a sudden be good now?

We Are Still Going To The SB
We will win the superbowl. What we are going through is actually good. It builds character. Now, the guys just have to work that much harder. And we will get hot later in the year and march our way to the superbowl. Ricki is right, we are the most talented team in the division. As a matter of fact when Jay comes back, we will be the most talented team in the AFC if not the entire NFL. That's just my opinion. I mean the JETS scored just six points at home during a sunday night game. If Jay was healthy, the game would have been a blow out.
