Knee braces for the lineman

Has anyone noticed that almost every lineman offense and defense is wearing knee braces. I know from attending previous years T/C that this is new, does anyone know if its just for camp

there are great new knee braces out there that allow for protection and motion of the knee, more then likely they are being used more and more to prevent injury

With as often as linemen get cut-blocked or rolled up on in piles, I would definitely want a brace to absorb the impact rather than the ligaments.

If i can remember correctly i have noticed them on just about all of Parcel's teams that he has been with.

well i am curious on this now.... i do know some coaches hold it mandatory for all linemen to wear braces.... i wonder if Parcells does that or is doing it with the Phins.... robotic legs now!!!

it is just that the new brace are so dynamic that is almost silly not to have the protection

well the number of illegal blocks it only makes sense. My question is... why didn't we do this sooner to protect our O and D linemen?
