Name: James Bradberry

Position: Cornerback

School: Samford

Height/weight: 6-1, 209

Year: Senior

I don't know any team who doesn't love this guy, the Pats have met with him and are very high on him. Need I remind you how they always find good corners later in the draft, well this is one of them.

CBS Sports' Dane Brugler says: "Bradberry is well-versed with press technique and isn't shy using his long arms and physical hands to disrupt the rhythm of receivers, but his high center of gravity and stiffness force him to get turned around, lacking the burst to recover. Although he needs to improve his anticipation and aggressiveness in off coverages, Bradberry will also be a candidate for zone schemes or a transition to safety."

NFL.com says: "Long, well-built cornerback who plays with enough ball skills to interest teams. On tape, Bradberry shows consistent issues with his footwork from press coverage and gives up too much separation to quick receivers early in routes. A step up in competition may be challenging for him early on and despite his size, his best spot may be as a zone corner."

Lot of cornerbacks and a decent amount of 3-4 guys.

Also not surprised to see Connor Cook there, I think Cook and Hackenberg could be in that project qb debate for a lot of coaches.

Jackson III and Treadwell are intriguing. Interesting though that neither Elliott nor Henry are on the list; get the feeling that the FO had/has no intention of drafting a RB in the first couple of rounds, thus the trade down with Philly :idk:

Well I will say this. There are more guys I was hoping we would meet with on the.list this year than most previous years. I like these guys:

James Bradbury CB
Brien Boddy-Calhoun CB
Spencer Drango OT/OG
Xavien Howard CB

2 of the 3 workouts so far are with QBS. Very happy to see one of them is Cook.

Two CBs that stand out for me- via the highlight reels on YT:

Eli Apple: The kid possesses good vision; closes in fast on the ball carrier, and even though some of the passes (in the YT vids) that came his way were under/over thrown, he is in position for the int./deflection. Good pick if Alexander is not available.

Mackensie Alexander: Wow! I love the kid's swagger on the field; blankets receivers well- slows them down/disrupts WR routes; can overpower blocker and get to the qb quick! He's strong- a hard hitter/tackler; NFL speed ready.

If Mackensie Alexander is available @ thirteen, it's a no brainer, make him a Dolphin...(IMO).

So Eli Apple is the red hot favorite to be the pick, in a position of great need and he fits the system, but you're saying we haven't even confirmed that we've spoken to him yet???? Even Atlanta has broached Eli's comfort of having gay teammates per the inappropriate Combine questions hitting the media, but we haven't spoken to him. I think that's unlikely. Maybe more possible that Miami has tightened the leaks in the buiding and the media are not as well informed as they think. (How is Omar getting the juice after Miko's departure to Tampa?)

Or...they are masking their interest in Elliott hoping he falls....who knows?

Interesting that they privately worked out 3 corners who probably aren't a consideration at 13.

Many think Apple is the pick at 13...either they plan on drafting more than one...or....they are prepared in case they don't go at 13.

NFL Draft Diamonds ‎@DraftDiamonds
Murray State WR Dominique Rhymes to participate in #Dolphins Pro Day, Friday, April 8.

Rhymes played 32 games for Florida International before leaving for Murray State. The 6’4 wide out is a big boy from Miami, and played high school ball at Miami Northwestern.

Rhymes was a three star recruit coming out of high school.
