This guy can not shed a block to save his life. The Bills used a WR to effectively block Misi multiple times and he couldn't get free, he was actually driven back and out of the play. I've never liked Misi. He's a backup at best with zero pass rush or play making skills. Bench him and Sheppard and plug in Virgil and Mccain. I'm tired of this piss poor, anti-instict linebacker sqaud. Jenkins is the only one that needs to stay on the field. Too bad Miami is too stupid to make the change
 
it is more apparent that the problem with the defense is simple:
Suh is taking up double teams, the edge rushers in effect cannot win their one on one's and we don't have filling the gap LB's.
Misi is afraid to be hurt
 
Misi is another wasted pick. He hasn't improved one bit since he's been here.
 
he is better in the middle but not by a huge margin. the problem is sheppard is always over pursuing. hell put jenkins in the middle.
 
He's not great but Jones and Misi have pretty much been our whole defense so far. Our MLB's should be making a lot more tackles, they really blow.
 
I don't know why people stand up for Misi. He is our worst linebacker by far. He is the new Channing Crowder, a mediocre at best Lb loved by the fanbase.

WOW, that's a BOLD statement with this linebacking crew. Misi is not a star but he is solid. My biggest beef with him is he can't stay on the field. I actually wish your statement was true, then we wouldn't have to worry about the backers at it would be a solid group.

I'm sorry to the other posters but I agree here!!! Obviously Jones is a godsend for us to have, but Misi as well has been saving our defense tremendously this year from being worse than it actually is. He is covering much field, and making tackles that shouldnt even be his quite often. He reads plays well and actually does get off blocks well with angle... plus he can contain!!! He is a solid LB to have for our defense, especially with him covering ground from our lack of ILB.

okay you may of witnessed a play you truly disliked of him getting blocked and driven by a WR, and maybe some other plays... but look at the whole game, the whole picture of Misi... who has been healthy and has been playing quite well for us this year so far. Actually better than Jenkins I would say so far too!!!
 
Misi might not be playing as consistent as we hoped of expect him to play, but he has still been one of our biggest playmakers on defense after Jones. I do agree with Tannchise though, he might be playing afraid of getting hurt.

I remember him being more decisive and explosive in his tackles before he was moved to M-LB, he could be a bit shell shocked from all those injuries.
 
worst lbs the mike although jenkins takes a ton of bait

the mike play is hot garbage
