I like most of you am pleased with his performance yesterday signed to the squad like 18 hours prior to the game and had no issue with the fastball Henne throws.

And i have read scouting reports and seen his numbers and he seems very athletic has run his 40 in the mid 4.6's-4.7, ok bench press but every other combine drill he was at the top for TE's, he seems to have a nose for the endzone looking at his stats. I know he isnt much of a blocker but Haynos and Fasano and prob any FA TE we bring in will do that. We need a guy who controls the middle of the field who other teams have to scheme for in the passing game.

I want to know if anybody has seen him play other than yesterday...if they remember him at Colorado State and can talk about his true potential. I mean try not to be too optimistic you can compare him to someone or just talk numbers wise, but i want to know if anybody with knowledge of his game has a prediction on his upside.

I can say this he will get alot of first team reps before the Panthers game Henne seem to look his way on big plays lets hope TS and DH get a clue and give him more snaps.

The kid played a great game. Showed excellent hands, no problem catching Henne's fastballs. I'm not worried about his blocking. At the least he's a WILLING blocker. What we need is a TE that can get open, get down the field, catch the ball when he's supposed and sometimes when he's not expected to, and hold onto the ball once he catches it.

My only concern at this point is he seened to be hobbling or something in the end zone when he caught the touchdown. Something didn't look right the way he was moving his leg.

Hopefully, he's healthy and can give us 3-5 good catches a game with a 10+ ypc average.

His potential? Not sure....we haven't had a WR that can catch in a while.

I know nothing except that he can catch a pass in the endzone, and thats more than enough upside in my book. Personally I would love to see alot more three tightend sets, especially if Ronnie is out for any period of time. Set it up for Ricky to take over the game in a traditional sence.

I know he only had three catches, but when was the last time we had a reciever of any type catch every ball thrown his way in a game? It's pretty sad that that is enough to get us all fired up about this guy.

The fact that Henne found him so often in that game really says a lot about our other receivers.

He looked pretty confident after the game. I like him, Henne can definitely use a pair of sure hands running down the center of the field.

Guy looked OK out there and certainly took advantage of the opportunities he was given so he deserves his Props today.

However, I would like to urge a bit of caution though. It is just his first game and he came in as a total unknown so the Buc's had no film or time to prepare for him. Given that fact and that now teams will know to cover him we should not build up unrealistic expectations and set him/us up for disappointment.

The only mistake he made was not getting out of bounds to stop the clock on the last drive. ut he was smart enough to now hat he did wrong right away (macked himself on the helmet multiple times).

One thing I noticed is tha the receivers run their routes and stand there, they on't comeback to the ball or find a opening in the zone to help Henne out. Don't know what he was thinking when he threw that interception

Couldn't agree more. My last comment was more to the point that I saw more out of Sperry yesterday than I have out of Haynos so far. Fasano is the guy I am most disappointed in this year. I really liked what I saw out of him last year but he has done nothing to back that up this year.
