He's old and washed-up...then again, so was Mark Brunell going into this year. KW's got a one-year contract with AZ, and he'd probably go for pretty cheap in the offseason which should work with our cap space. Hey, in my view, the 2005 Kurt Warner is the 1999 Warner when looking at the Gus Bus.

Nope, can't keep going for the old quick fixes. We have to start new and get a young QB, whether it is a FA or through the draft.

you cant name or remember...or just even think of 1 good thing Kurt Warner has done since leaving the absolute Perfect situation and Perfect timing he got in St. Louis.

A journeyman QB is not the answer, as we have found out these past couple of years, since he who will not be named retired. Our best QB was Fielder through all this, you would have think we would have found our future QB by now.

Go after brees/river (true, nobody knows what rivers is about, but had we had that draft pick, we would have drafted him) or a QB in the draft (I wish we could get a FA and draft Hawk for the future of our D, but this wont' be an option)

We don't need anymore dinosaur cookie cutter QBs on our team anymore! We need a young, talented guy we groom for the future.

I was just bringing the Warner name to the table to get a good debate going, and I'm all for a young new guy for the future. But then we get back to the argument that the defense can't wait for a young guy to mature, yada yada yada...

No way... forget Mark Brunell! He is 35 years old, we need YOUTH! Lets go for Kurt Warner, he's only 34 years old. :hitself:

If we're getting an old QB it has to be either Favre or McNair or someone who's been flat out dominant recently. Either in a good system will do great still. Just look at what Bledsoe is doing and he's not a McNair or Favre...

Drew Brees was THERE for the Taking...

And Dave took Jamar Fletcher,......way to go Dave...

I've been meaning to go over past drafts and see what qb's were available when we picked.

Good thing for our old regimes health, Big Ben was already taken, or I would have sent a lynch mob over to wanny's house.
