I remember after New England picked him up last year the media raved about how great of a pick-up that was, and how it was a low risk high reward signing, I can guarantee we won't get the same from them even though I bet he has a more productive season for us than he did for New England.

I think it comes down to what Philbin said yesterday...that he and Sherman are concerned by the number of drops by the WRs, TEs and RBs. Obviously he doesn't see enough sure handed receivers on the roster. I don't know if Ochocinco sticks and makes the 53 and Philbin may be using him to motivated some other guys or maybe he was impressed enough with his workout to take a chance on him. Ochocinco still has to learn the playbook and display the ability to run the right route when he's supposed to which he didn't do in New England.
