I'm happy with either Farmer or Xanders. Dennis Hickey sounds like he could be a decent Assistant GM.
 
At this point, this thread is stale. Nothing to do but posting regurgitated speculation.
The decision will be made pretty soon. Just enjoy the situation of the team without Ireland. I can ride that wave for another 2 weeks...no problem.
 
The BIG O said that the DOLPHINS list of GM are all second tier candidates as compared to the list he had compiled...... SHOULDN'T the DOLPHINS just hire him since this self proclaimed baffoon knows all the quality GM's and all the quality future talent in the NFL????? The BIG O knows all the talented GM's and future stars in the NFL.... just ask him!!! He'll get on his almighty soapbox to brag how he knows so much more than the idiot Dolphin fan!!C'mon Ross hire the BIG O!

He is just another guy from Miami without an education trying to make it as a sports columnist. Dime a dozen.

I understand the Dolphins wanting to take their time and get the right guy, but this wait is awful for a fan. You hear about 3 interviews in 3 days, then nothing for 3 days. I just hope Ross doesn't blow this. I like all of the candidates they have brought in with the exception of Kahn. Wish they could have interviewed a few more (Ross and Highsmith come to mind first), but I would be happy with just about any of these guys. Would not love it to be Gaine either because he learned from Ireland, but I may be able to warm up to him. I just hope we name a GM soon and within 72 hours, that GM reaches out to Grimes and his agent. Priority #1!
