La Canfora: NFL investigation will be sweeping, exhaustive

I wonder if Laconfora has ever been bullied.
 
Better widen the investigation to every locker room in the NFL.

Martin is going to regret this big time because it's not about him and his pansy self anymore.

Agreed, do people really think a Dolphin locker room is any different than every other team?...me thinks not.
 
Welll at least Jeff is gonna be replaced now we'll see if the whole staff goes with him... (not all of this will be justified but seriously how does Jeff have this GM gig still?) We really need to draft some football players people who like to break a finger nail
 
Wasn't La Canfora revered a few days ago by you guys because he wrote a sympathetic article about the psychopath? You can't make this stuff up. lol
 
Martin has opened him self up to more bullying..
Funny this malicious attack his lawyer is bringing up fails to mention it was Richie who stepped in and saved martin from getting beat-down

Every fanbase is the same. If this was happening to the jets and we switched cogs name with Calvin pace, jets fans would be defending their own as vehemently as phins fans are. Probably even more so.
 
The one thing I liked in that article was the thought that this might wake Ross up and have him clean this mess up and put people in place that can bring this organization back respectability. Ross must be pissed and I hope this does wake him up
 
We will be the new "bountygate" in the terms of "bullygate". I have no doubts we will suffer for all of the NFL's locker room problems and Roger Gotohell will parade us as the example.
 
Whatever.

Hopefully the good that will come of this is that Ireland is finally canned, given that our fearless leader had neither the foresight or the balls to clean house when he got rid of Sparano (one year too late I might add). If Philbin goes with him, them's the breaks. It's not like we'd be losing Lombardi or Shula or Walsh.

It's a multi-billion dollar tax-exempt business. They're going to protect that status at all costs. Part of protecting that status is to make sure that their brand isn't tarnished in any way, shape, or form. No player, no coach, no franchise is more important than the brand. And if any player, coach, or organization becomes a threat to the brand, they're going to be dealt with. The vast majority of fans look at football as simply a sport. The league, franchises, and many players look at it as a business, and as such, their priorities are different than the fans' priorities.

Actually NO. Read the article. This is what it says:

A source said that incident in question took place in 2012, Martin's rookie season, away from the team facility, but that it was witnessed by Dolphins players.

That means the incident was not the Dion Jordan fight that Richie defended him against, therefore something far more serious. You really think attacking your teammate outside is normal behavior?? This helps in making him tougher and a better player?? REALLY??
