ross is beyond a buffoon....for the love of god please, please, please, pretty freaking please, sell the team dumbo!

Also, we were interested in Ryan Pace but the saints denied the interview request.

The Dolphins are casting a wide net in their effort to find a G.M. But not every candidate will make it into the boat for an interview.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that the Saints have denied a request by the Dolphins to interview New Orleans director of player personnel Ryan Pace.

A 12-year member of the Saints organization, Pace is completing the first season in his current job.

Confusion persists in some league circles regarding the rules that apply to a team’s ability to block a request to interview a front-office employee for the job of General Manager. As one league insider described the rule on Thursday, it’s “murky.”

But he's taking too long, he's leaving the country, he is clueless and a buffoon.

Yes imagine leaving "this week" who could fit 2 interviews in a week?

I dont pretend to have inside knowedge about these up and coming gm guys but I like what ive seen and read with both these guys. Id probably prefer Xanders as he drafted some studs like thomas but id be happy with either of these two.

I'll add Pace to the list, thanks.

I have a feeling it's been Farmer all along and we've just be strung along. Now Ross is out of the country. That tells me he's already chosen.

I'm concerned about Farmer's experience on the college side. We are really rolling the dice in that sense. I wanted to list all of the candidates to get a long view of where we started and where we are. It's been said that due to the structure, some GM's would decline the job based on that.

Ross needs to pick one and go with it. Allow him a chance to get work done.

Once hired, Ross needs to give this man the keys and allow to mold this franchise into a winner. Ross should stay out of his way and if anyone in the organization is not on board, they should be fired.

This new GM is the only possible hope Miami has going into the future.

Farmer is Aponte and Peterson's guy. So I guess I'm not surprised he's in the final two. As I said, I think they stopped looking after that for all intents and purposes. Interviewing the other people may have just been to get information, and be as thorough as possible.

I wish it was Licht instead of Farmer, I think he has a better resume.

I don't know why peoplr think were taking to long, this is a great job with very limited openings in the nfl, its not like there going anywhere.

I wish it was Licht instead of Farmer, I think he has a better resume.

I liked Licht early. Loved Marc Ross. I'm really worried about Farmer's inexperience in the college game, and what he has upstairs. But you never know, he's a hard worker and it could work out.
