lack of upgrades is upsetting me.

We had the totally wrong strategy this off season for the o line. I'm personally not a big detractor of the draft, but if we were going to go o line (and they HAD to know carey was done at tackle) they should have drafted Gabe Carimi who is a better prospect than Pouncey and brought in O'Hara to play C. Boom o line set for '11, and looking way better than what we have.
But that aside, the draft is what it is - we had no excuse not to upgrade at our current positions of need. I'm not talking about signing EVERY FA but we had more than enough cap room to sign 2 of the following players : Z. Miller, B. Edwards, R. Gallery, D. Manning, or a trade for Kyle Orton.
If we were to for example sign Edwards nd Gallery our team would be tremendously better in11 IMO. I really just don't get it. Standing pat won't work for us!

Yeah, b/c they knew O'Hara was going to be cut and our interior is a much higher priority then our tackle position.

So you're complaining about some people trying to find the silver lining within personnel moves that we as fans have no saying on?
 
So...We would NOT be a better team with Gallery and Edwards as I suggested? That's what u guys r saying? Because I was under the impression that the whole idea was to get better... Could be wrong though.
 
Think it's better they fail hard this year than continue to waste time in the future anyway.

What would those acquisitions do.... put us in playoff contention to barely make it or get blown out in the wild card? I'd rather an entire new front office and coaching staff next offseason. Tired of false hope now.
 
i say keep going with what we got and hire Leonard davis. screw it. can never have enough of those guys. i dont care what anyone says. so there.

If we signed a couple of good offensive players nd Henne took a step forward then we could have gotten much more than false hope out of this season. Unfortunately I dont think we upgraded enough with just Bush nd Columbo.

Obviously, this thread was started with the intent of pissing off half of the other posters...
 
What with the ire over Optimistic dolphin fans this year?

Thank you!!! Not to mention the fact that I think we've all earned the right to be skeptical of FO moves after the I DONT KNOW 15 YEARS of mediocrity.

My point is, that this time of year is usually the time when we are all excited to have football back and see our fins play. I am just surprised at the amount of negativity I am seeing this year. Maybe it is like this every year but I dont seem sto remember it this way.

Not tryin to be a d1ck but go cheer for another team. Your speculation is garbo. Real fans will always support any player on the team. So yes us 'real' fans will always make excuses for team..
