97 yds!!!! Longest run in NFL since 2003.

Only two longer in NFL history.

Lamar Miller passed a personal milestone in style.

Miller, who is having a breakout in his third season for the Miami Dolphins, passed 1,000 yards in a season for the first time. He did it on one of the four longest runs in NFL history.

Early in the third quarter the Dolphins were backed up at their 3-yard line and handed to Miller, who burst through a hole on the right side, then ran past a defender who fell down and was off to the races. He outran the Jets' defense to the end zone for a 97-yard score, the longest in Dolphins history. That put him over 1,000 yards for the season.

Awesome run by Lamar. Excellent season in his limited snaps. It's also not good to see the defense **** it up for the offense again.

Miller and Tannehill were about the only bright spots in a sad day.

Classic Dolphins that that play comes in a meaningless game that they didn't even win.

Can we please not limit his carries! This idea that he is a small RB is absurd.

D. Murray 6'0" 217 pnds
L. Bell 6'1" 244 pnds
M. Lynch 5'11" 215 pnds
A. Foster 6'1" 227 pnds
L. McCoy 5'11" 208 pnds
J. Forsett 5'8" 197 pnds
E. Lacy 5'11" 230 pnds
A. Morris 5'10" 224 pnds
J. Hill 6'1" 238 pnds
M. Forte 6'2" 218 pnds
J. Charles 5'11" 199 pnds
F. Gore 5'9" 217 pnds
L. Miller 5'10" 224 pnds

Of the top RB's in the league only Bell, Foster (by a measly 3 pnds), Lacy and Hill outweigh Miller. Yet Lamar has the lowest average carries per game amongst this group. Why?

Injury prone

LeVeon Bell lost 25 pounds.

It is absurd he doesn't get 20 carries a game with his average. Coaching staff is clueless just like our owner just like our beat writers. Oh when will the cluelessness end?!!

How many games did Miller miss to injuries this year?

Because Joe Philbin. That's why.

Didn't Miller finish one yard short of 1100 on the year?
