1st of all, great game by the team.

I finally watched the game last night and am I the only one that thinks that Lamar could have had more yards in this game?

More than once, I saw him running out of bounds, kind of sloppily cutting the wrong way, etc.

I'm proud if his work and that of the offensive line, but I found myself juking in my chair hoping that my moves would somehow make Lamar move as well.

Also, I'm not impressed with Damian running at all.

Jonas is what he is.

Damien also had that fumble on the opening kickoff (I think it was the opening one). He's a weak runner and Im not sure he is better than average pass catcher.

Why complain about a good game

I was more pissed up about the tannehil that was clled back holding. I believe as for bout 40yrds.

More of an opinion than a complaint. :)

I'm overjoyed that Philbin is gone. Could not understand his lack of run game mantra.

to put that in perspective miller would've gone from averaging 5.6 ypc to 9.5 to achieve 180 yards on 19 carries.......so to criticize him for not accomplishing that is a little silly, and by a little, i mean a lot

Lamar should be getting the ball 20 times a game, and this game proved that. In all situations, too. Goal line, third down, etc. There isn't another back on this team that comes close to Lamar.

Well, yeah, if Lamar Miller was Demarco Murray or Jamaal Charles maybe he would've had 180. And if my aunt was my uncle...

(P.S. And on the other hand, if he was Damien Williams, he probably would've had 80. Lamar is not elite but he's not half bad either - let's enjoy his good games when he has them.)

Same here! I'm completely ignorant when it comes to the technical Xs and Os of the game, but even I know that on offense everything starts with a decent o-line and a functional running game. Run the ball well enough to make the defense respect it and the passing game will improve. Not only did Philbin hate running the ball, but Campbell got a better performance out of the o-line in his first game than Philbin did over the past few years!

Maybe we've been spoiled because Ricky would've had 220 with those holes. Miller is what he is, a solid RB that can produce what you need with the right amount of touches. He is not a top 10 back, so don't expect that kind of production.

Miller had 99 yards at the HALF. He finished with 113. I'm surprised he didn't finish with 140-150 with the way he ran in the first half. But it's good for Gray to get some carries and rest Miller. Remember we have 2 games next week. Need to keep the starters fresh.

I had no issues with Gray running in the 2nd half. Get him some reps/rythym, and Lamar isnt the most durable guy in the world so I didnt have a problem with getting him rest. Sometimes you need a physical guy to just wear down the defenders. Makes them not want to hit you anymore.
