It's perplexing as to what Miami is doing with Lamar? It seems like they keep him sidelines at the smallest issue, even when he feels fine to play. If he weren't a free agent at the end of the season, I'd say they want to keep him healthy for a trade. But he's gone is he chooses.
They don't want to have him trying to get 1k yards. That would be a nice point to make in contract negotiations. Has Dan or any coach come out and said they want to help him get those yards?

[STRIKE][/STRIKE]If they're really sitting him out for a bull**** reason like contract extension or some other idiotic reason, they're going to drive him to another team that actually runs him where he'll rack up 1,400 yards and earn a Pro Bowl appearance.

Can't wait to hand out those pink slips and get some real coaches on the sidelines. Really a head scratcher why they don't run this guy like the top 10 back he has the potential to be...Any coach who has half a brain would know that this offense is most effective when we get Lamar going. I get pumped thinking about how a guy like Hue Jackson would scheme innovative ways to get Ajayi, Miller and Tannehill clicking in the running game - it would be a beautiful sight to see. PLEASE SIGN HUE JACKSON! I'm hoping the Bengals get knocked off in the first round so Ross doesn't panic and sign the first guy he interviews.

It's clear since there using Miller and Ajayi 50/50. Miller is going to New England.

The production we'd see from Miller in NE would be through the roof. Imagine him in that system, in the passing game alone.... I sure hope not.

NE is not tying up big money at rb. In their offense Dion Lewis is cheaper and just as good . Just in their offense

After today it's clear to me that they simply do not want him to hit 1000 yards. TBum thinks he's being cute. I hope the union somehow sues this team

let him go give the job to ajayi

No.

We need to keep Miller. Good receiver, good blocker, good runner, why would we let him go? He wants to be in Miami, so make him a fair offer and if someone else wants to overpay...we can't help that. But just let him walk is crazy....

Omar Kelly was just on Joe Rose and said Lamar was dealing with a nagging quad injury and with Ajayi running well they stuck with him. . . I get it, its Omar and Lamar has been underused all season. . . But yesterday wasnt a game I question the way they used him. Give the rook some PT.

Letting miller go would be dumb. He will find another team and be a perennial 1200 yard guy and if he ends up in the west coast offense he will catch 60 balls a year to go with it. Miller seemed to be pretty upset after this last loss on how he was used and IIRC his agent and himself have alluded to him not being happy in Miami other times this season because of it.

However given how miami handles personnel you can bet he will be another AFC east uniform come next year and put 120+ on us every game.

you think miller would have done anything running the ball yesterday?

ajayi only scored cause he ran thru hard contact...he's downhill with the intentions we need...

I'd give the rock to ajayi 20 times a game in 2016

He has a top gear that is unmatched by most RBs in the NFL and great vision for this type of scheme. I wouldnt use the word "good" when describing his blocking and receiving skills. I also think if you gut this offense and go more power, it definitely will hurt his value for us.

We can be patient until we figure out what we are doing early in the offseason, then decide.
