looking at all his stats in major categories this season miller is in the top 10 of them all. this guy has grown tremendously since when we drafted him. many were already calling him a bust but as it shows give a guy enough time and he can become something good for the team. its a shame moreno couldnt stay healthy this year that would have been an incredible backfield.

despite a strong season, I still sort of agree he would be best as the number 2 back behind a tougher runner, Moreno and Miller would have been perfect

I was just reading comments on a Facebook page about Lamar's 1000 yard season and many are just brushing it off because we went 8-8. Same with Tannehill. It's sad that the emergence of some great young players is getting little recognition by many simply because we didn't make the playoffs. I get people are frustrated but taking away their accomplishments and acting like they're nothing to acknowledge is sad. Sometimes I strongly feel that the fans don't even deserve what they are given...

Maybe he could use a number 2 back but be proved to me he is more than that. I am very happy he broke out this year.

People pick and choose. OBJ is getting lauded and rightfully so but if people were consistent they would say "eh, his team wasnt very good"

We should be happy about Lamar, we should be happy about Ryan, but the truth is our defense regressed badly this year, our offensive line is still a mess, and now we have issues at WR after MW decided to quit on his team, so it's hard to feel good about the future right now. We need Dennis Hickey to have a great offseason, lucky for him he doesn't need to look for a QB, at least.

I definitely think he doesn't get enough props around here. The only knock I have on him is that he is not a heavy volume guy based on his durability. He has stayed healthy but I assume his limited action is based on the staff understanding they need to monitor his workload to maximize his health.

still think he's a good 2nd back. change of pace back.

Not sure where this idea started that Lamar isn't built to carry the load. In fact, there are only a few "bigger" backs in the league.

D. Murray 6'0" 217 pnds
L. Bell 6'1" 244 pnds
M. Lynch 5'11" 215 pnds
A. Foster 6'1" 227 pnds
L. McCoy 5'11" 208 pnds
J. Forsett 5'8" 197 pnds
E. Lacy 5'11" 230 pnds
A. Morris 5'10" 224 pnds
J. Hill 6'1" 238 pnds
M. Forte 6'2" 218 pnds
J. Charles 5'11" 199 pnds

Lacy at 230? Maybe his ass. He is one burrito away from pulling guard.

Absolutely.

Miller has had a fantastic season and should rightly receive the plaudits. I love what James has accomplished in his first season also. Landry has had a superb rookie year on top. That's without mentioning the QB, who has had his best season yet.

Lots to like. I don't buy the idea that Miami is a total mess. It needs help and leadership but major surgery ? Nope.

Agreed. He just seem far too fragile to count on him as a #1 RB. They limited his touches for a reason. As a change of pace RB the sky is the limit for LS.

Miller has a 225lb NFL starting running back body, with the shoulders of Miley Cyrus.

One strong Kuechly or Bowman collision and he's on the sidelines.

Miller's vision has really improved, and his power too. So many times this season he was caught for a big loss, but turned it into a gain of somesort - something we really lacked last year. Deserves the starting spot next year - he's developed as soundly as Tannehill has so far.

They need to feed the ball to Damian Williams more, he is a natural runner with power.
