Miami Hurricanes (Feb. 29)

The most surprising of the 16 Hurricanes who worked out was WR Lance Leggett, who was not invited to this year's combine but turned heads on campus with a pair of 40s in the low 4.4s and a 37-inch vertical. The 6-3, 189-pound Leggett never played to his potential at Miami, but don't be surprised if the talented underachiever hears his name called on Day 2.

I know he had pretty bad hands, but I definitely think he's worth the risk in the 4th or 5th.

Unless he can play special teams, as in being a gunner on kick coverage or a kick returner, Leggett will not be drafted by the Dolphins. He may get a free agent invite but he'll still have to play special teams to make the team.

hes soft and his hands are pretty bad. their terrible. i wouldnt mind it if we picked him in the UDFA round. other then that, hes a waste of athletic ability.

Alligator arms, he ducked from a pass once, you never want a player like LL

Leggett is a massive waste of talent. He'll never amount to anything. UM has cranked out some pretty weak receivers as of late.

i really like him....but mark my words,we'll either pick him up in the 6th or 7th(depending on the prior draft picks),or we sign him undrafted.Because without hands, your a CB.But,i think he is underrated, and has potential to be the next Donald Driver(drafted in the 7th round,7 the pick, currently plays for GB)

then again...reminds me of chris chambers...now that i think about it.Obviously,Chambers ahs better hands, but,if you looked at Chambers games,he would drop the easiest passes, but he did catch some impossibles and "Mossed" some people. But seriously,I know it sounds crazy, but when I watch Chambers(while he played before he got traded) play,he droped some passes that really puzzled me.I remember once that he was running a deep route against OAK,and he dropped it....and he was wide open,i could barely keep myself from cursing at the T.V......

as someone that is a season ticketholder to UM and has seen every game he has played he is good for a long TD once a year will not go over the middle to make an easy or hard catch his long arms shrink when contact is near i will throw my tv out of my house if we come near him in the draft

Donald Driver!?! Driver makes a living off going over the middle and using his strength and toughness to succeed.

Lance Leggett makes me ashamed to share a namesake with him.

He is SCARED of contact. Without a doubt he is a track guy who plays football.

Of course he ran well and jumped well. That's why he was a 5 star recruit...it's the lack of hands, courage, attention to detail, and ability to run routes that holds him back as a football player.

Lance Legget is soft and not a "football player" perfect example of a guy that has some ability but doesnt have "it" i dont see him succeeding
