Several factors I believe are playing a part in this news about possibly trading away Jarvis Landry. 1) He's asking for an awful lot of money. 2) The team is loaded at WR. 3) Signing Jay Cutler, who takes up $13M in cap space is limiting any further signings this season. 4) I think they may realize the defensive short comings and may want to add another piece. 5) It wouldn't surprise me his domestic issue is more than it seems and they've decided to cut bait. Just my guesses.

I'm a Juice fan, but if you can plug in Carroo at slot and get an impact player at a position of need you have to consider. Also, looks like Parker is a #1 and will soon want the $$.

I have been saying that they will trade him for a while.
He is great... I love him..
    BUT
I think the fins like Parker more and since they signed Stills and Can't have Stills, Landry and Parker all signed for long term.
Plus Landry would command more than Parker on the market.
I just hope the get the best deal that they can....( If they do trade him)

The floor on a trade offer should be a high 2nd.

I think the re-signing of Stills is also playing a huge part in this potential trade happing. Can't pay Still, Landry and Parker. Just can't do it. This isn't MLB or the NBA, were huge contracts are the norm.

I love Landry, but if we trade him would your prefer a player OR picks in return?

If it's a STUD player that can help us right away at LB, CB, S or even OL, then maybe. If not, no less than a 2nd round pick. I don't want to lose him, but it's a business. I get it, but it needs to be the right deal for US!

JOE MONTANA & WAYNE GRETZKI were traded. As much as I love JARVIS, he's not in their league. ANYONE is tradable. IMO, JARVIS' skill set is the "easiest" to replace among him, DVP & STILLS. The DOLPHINS simply cannot pay THREE WR's what they are all due. LANDRY would be greatly missed though, no doubt.

I'd want a proven NFL talent. I don't think you give up Juice and HOPE to hit in a draft pick.

I understand trading Jarvis. And unless we are WOW'd with a player who is going to help us now, I don't think trading him right NOW is the right move.

It depends on what type of player comes back in return. Either or is fine by me as long as the pick or picks start in the late 1st or in the early to mid 2nd round. Cleveland and Philadelphia are 2 teams that come to mind, as potential trade partners.

This is smart management...we don't have to trade Landry...but if the right offer is there...this is how the rich get richer.

    Hardly.

We have continually made very questionable moves that has now lead us to possibly parting with our most productive offensive weapon for the past 3 years. We are consistently in a reactive mode with little plans for the future of this team.

Before we say what?....This is smart management...almost every player on your team should be available for the right price...doesn't mean you trade him if you don't get that offer.

This is not debatable...it's business 101.

We ain't winning **** anytime soon, the Browns have three 2nd round picks, send him to Cleveland for a conditional 2nd (whichever of the three picks finishes highest). They have two 1sts as well but no way they give us their own and I highly doubt they give up Houston's.

Hell trade Tannehill for a 1st while you're at it, we'll have two 1sts and two 2nds to build with.

WRs are a dime a dozen, Parker has a much higher ceiling and Stills is good. Caroo can step up for us. if the right offer comes along you trade Landry

Apperantly this rumor has some legs to it. According to NFLTradeRumors, the Dolphins are in active trade talks.

    Very doubtful.

Trading a player who reported to camp? Did all the right things in the off-season?

Gase said the plan was to make all 3 stay in Miami.

Cut MaxWell & Thomas next year use that for Landry cap

Not true. It was just 3 years ago that our WR corp was dismal with starters Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace.

Definitely a proven player. If we trade Landry, then it is for help now in an area of need.

I'm not necessarily big on the idea of trading Landry. Our receivers give us a huge advantage in any matchup. Plus, Landry is a beast. Period. Carroo or Grant can't replace him.

Max Garcia and a pick? Garcia isn't on the same level as Landry.

If there are multiple takers, I wonder if we will give Jarvis the choice on where he wants to go. I know sometimes that isn't possible, but if it was that would be very classy of the organization in my mind.

Well, we did trade out of a top 10 spot in the draft for a blah LB in Alonso, and a liability in Maxwell so I wouldn't put any trade possibility past this FO.
