Larry Allen Will definately be cut by june 1st

Allen's washed up IMO. Not completely. But he's certainly sliding. Larry Chester dominated him on Thanksgiving afternoon.

Larry Allen can still play but is on the downside of his career.Besides I dont think the fins will want to assume a big contract at this stage of the game especially if they want to re-sign Ogun.More likely they would take a look a OL who would come close to the minimum.Would be nice to see him in a fin uniform though.Hes a beast.:cooldude:

There are some news in aol saying he will likely get cut because of his salary and health. He has clearly said that he won't restructure, yes we talk this months ago and the Cowboys said they wont release him. That doesn't mean that he won't get released. Not speculating here but its very obvious that they wont pay an aged lineman about the fraction of the roster.

Without some confirmation from a reliable media source (such as what ZOD posted above from a Dallas paper), it would be more accurate to express this as a speculative opinion. Saying it's going to happen definItely is different from "Is there a chance Allen will be released?"

It's pretty apparent the Cowboys don't want to do it at this stage. He still has ability and size, is a borderline hall-of-famer at OG, and they don't have a monster in the background waiting to take his place. That, combined with all the factual information indicating Allen will be staying, turns your confident assertion into a wild, long-shot speculation.
